I have never been so happy! I had pegged Saffy and some of the other witches as queer in my own world (with _those_ descriptions how could I not?) but am so happy it’s cannon! I literally had to put the book down and walk away, a huge stupid smile on my face. Thank you, KC!
Also I emailed KC thanking her for the validation on this, and she emailed me back saying that Saffy was always meant to be gay. That she didn’t think anyone would pick up on it but we are always surprising her. It made me smile even more.
