Buffy & Spike automatically going in a back to back mode in half a second when they hear something suspect in 7x13 will always be one of my favorite things. How they instinctively protect each other, literally have “each other's back”. Speaks volume about their trust in each other, which is one of the main themes for their relationship in this season. I love that they used fight scenes as a way to convey this, to show that they rely on each other, but it goes to a way deeper level than just fights. This was the one thing missing previously for Buffy to actually let her guard down emotionally speaking.
Poor Sarah, you can tell she's got a nasty cold in the first scene of 7x13
