still rereading buffy s10 and
this will never not be funny to me. like genuinely just so fucking hilarious. love when the artist perfectly captures the sheer emotional range of angel's non-expressions

This Season 10 moment when Buffy tries speed dating in San Francisco and gets matched up with a vampire.
She worked hard to earn this reputation as the vampirefucker slayer.
maybe we should let Harmony write the rules
the archaeus arc in buffy s10 (comics) could have been so fucking cool and dramatic and i stand by that.
he should have been a bigger villain than he was. this is THE demon driving angel and spike's evil actions. this is william the bloody, this is angelus, this is darla, this is the master. this is every vampire in their lineage, this is the essence connecting them all. angel and spike should have been HORRIFIED to come face to face with their creator.
and the hivemind aspect of their lineage had SO much potential. archaeus should have had much more control over the vampires. he's a part of them, isn't he? and it could have been really really cool if he had tapped into their memories and emotions. talking to buffy in the same way and using the same language as angelus did. and i WISHHH they had explored the idea of angel and spike sharing a psychic link more than just for a villain reveal. they should have angsted over it at least a LITTLE bit, come on. at least one of them should have had an existential crisis about them being, at least in part, the same person.
arghhhh i'm just so mad that it wasn't as awesome and emotional as it could have been. but that's the buffy comics for you, i guess.
with the lore established in btvs s10 (comics) that the descendants of archaeus (aka all the aurelians and their relatives) share a kind of unconscious hivemind connection (as shown by them dreaming as each other and as archaeus) i can't help but wonder if connor feels that same connection. is a part of archaeus in him, too? he has all the powers of a vampire, just with a human body. does that mean he's a part of the hivemind?
just remembered that season 10 made it canon that spangel is selfcest kind of. like a little bit. technically. which is yet another weird funny comic thing that amuses me dearly
i think harmony kendall should be allowed to do whatever she wants actually. so what if she bites and kills people who caressssss. they hate to see a girlboss winning. and in s10 clem should have gone through with adding her additions to the vampyr book btw, it would have had no consequences whatsoever and everything would have been fine. surely. anyways she was right and should never face any consequences for any of her actions ever
he truly is my favorite character
