which fictional character (book, show, or movie) do you relate to most? 

man, like all-time...my first thought was willow. i related to her even as a kid when i was first watching buffy, and unlike some of the characters i related to then (e.g., hermione) i still relate to her just as strongly now if not even more so.

 describe your favorite smell

ooh, that’s tough. i’m very much an autumn-y, food and spices kind of person re: favorite smells, although i also like floral scents.

i bought my bf this “spiced mead” beard oil (bc he looooves mead) and honestly, i’m gonna selfishly keep buying it as long as he likes it bc it fits squarely into this category. you’ve got all kinds of mulling spice scents, and then also this sweet warm honey scent. so i’m not gonna say that’s my favorite smell but it’s a good example of it!

I love the way you defend the scoobies. They may fuck up sometimes but damn their number one priority is usually Buffy? They were 16 year old geeks and spent 7 years fighting by Buffy's side, sacrificing their lives every day to try and help fight the good fight. I'm over fans villainizing the scoobies for not reading Buffy's mind or following her in to another death trap after "Empty Places" when Buffy did fantastically on her own with zero casualties.

Thank you! Yeah, the way the BtVS fandom vilifies the Scoobies drives me nuts, especially since - unlike Buffy who was forced into her role as the Slayer - they chose to fight the good fight and chose to stand by her side time and again. She literally would not be alive if it wasn’t for them.

Do they screw up? Of course (Season 6 in particular springs to mind) but so does Buffy. That’s what friends do, they mess up, they apologise and they forgive one another. So if Buffy can forgive the Scoobies for their occasional fuck-ups, why can’t the fandom?
