Regulas’s wives might be one of the funniest interactions for Subaru in the BTZ because imagine Subaru having to deal with all these random women trying to torment his pet rabbit. One moment, their trying to cook his pet alive over a fire the next, their trying to give him a makeover. Then his poor sweet bungulas comes running over to him all distraught and scared.
Now Subaru has tolerated a lot(from his perspective), but he expected at least one person to stop these crazy women from trying to forcefully put his pet in a tootoo. Meanwhile everyone is letting the wives do as they please because frankly after the BS Regulas put them through, they feel like it’s a fitting punishment.
Of course no has told Subaru
You really think Subaru wouldn’t join in with the crazy ladies in trying to put frilly tutus and ribbons and cute dresses on his pet rabbit? …Unfortunately, they’re all currently avoiding him and his pet out of the fear that maybe they’ll lose it and hurt this poor boy’s pet (and HIM in the process, emotionally) and so he doesn’t get cute dress-up bunny time :(
Then BTZ III comes around and now Bungulus is in Hell.
