fuck whoever changed the meaning of the word Goon. that was my fav silly, semi-insulting thing to call people affectionately. it's better than dork and dweeb and nerd, and it just had some oomph to it
FIFTH YEAR OF ARTFIGHT LETS GO BABY.
if you do your best to be as good/kind as you can be, don't ever fucking let people around you tell you to tone it down, to be realistic, that you're naive, that you're childish, that you're just trying to make them look bad. it's so easy to be an asshole. stay gentle, be kind.
Himi paints acquired >:3 might start practicing by painting some animals and work through the alphabet. Feel free to suggest some animals that start with A
Man, if we can't stop people from using AI for visuals/writing/anything, then I think it should at least be ordered by law to state AI was used to make the product on said product. There needs to be a way to hold these people accountable when the environmental crisis goes even more belly up. They seem so proud to be using AI, then they should be proud to slap a disclaimer on what they make
I'm very tired and not capable of a super indepth analysis right now but I'm watching The Croods and not to be dramatic, this is DreamWorks' most interesting and creative animated movie. Despite being fantastical and unrealistic most of the time, it tickles the part of my brain that loves paleohistory/anthropology and worldbuilding. I love the use of neanderthals and modern man facing calamity in an eden-like setting, relying on teamwork and mutual understanding to survive and move forward. The symbolism of their cave being safety, but ultimately ignorance and stagnation, and the sun being danger unknown, but also hope and evolution. Using the caveman father to represent reliable old-way thinking, but being unable to fully embrace life and holding his loved ones back; and the cro-magnon stranger representing possibility through his imagination, creativity and foresight. The journey of man all wrapped up in a fun story about family dynamics. The second movie was fun but it completely lost the point of the first movie. I wish the first got as much love as Shrek, KFP, and HTTYD
I miss having a pet so bad. Can all you good people with pets give your dog a kiss on the head for me? Dab up your cat? Give your rat a snack? Give your snake a rat? Whistle at your bird? Hug your horse? Uhhhh clean your fish's tank or something?
