Help Lincoln Colonials raise money to support University of Lincoln SU

I don’t usually post fundraiser or charity links, but y’all know how much I care about football, and this is my local team !! They have a playoff game coming up, so need some support rather urgently in order to prepare for it.

They need funding for hiring venues for training because their current field has a 2G surface, and new restrictions will mean they can no longer train nor play on it — all the money goes through the SU to the team, so thank you to anyone who sends support !! :]]

Our league is being completely changed for next season.

Option A Option B

Option A means we wont be a Prem team, we'll be be "1A" what ever that means, but the furthest we'll have to travel is 137 miles to Sunderland.

Option B means we have to play Loughborough, who are widely regarded as one of the best teams in the country, and we'd be in a Midlands conference, whilst Huddersfield, Manchester and Sheffield would be in the Northern, despite being further south than us...

I don't think a tiered system can work with a university league, because we lose so many players each year. Just because a team is successful one year, that doesn't guarantee they will be the following season. Look at us. We went from 2-6, to 4-4, to 6-2, to 8-0, then back to 6-2 in the space of five years. Also, not entirely sure how the playoff situation will work with so many conferences. Do we play each team twice? That makes sense with the 5-team conference, that's only 10 games, 2 more than we currently play, but the 6-team conference gives 12 games. We struggle to fit 8 games into the season as it is.

They've released the playoff fixtures. Brunel have to travel all the way to Glasgow.

Playoff Football.

I don't want to go to sleep. Because when I wake up, it will be tomorrow. And tomorrow is Game Day. And if we lose, that's it. That could be the last time I ever get a chance to play uni football. I have to work really hard to pass the year with enough credits to get onto my masters and get me another year. There are people on the team who know they are graduating. There are people on the team who know that if we lose tomorrow, they will never play Shark football again. But I'm in limbo. I don't know. I wont know until the summer. I wont be in the Leaver's Photos. I just wont be there any more. And I'll never get to play uni ball again. And I really don't want that. 

I want to win tomorrow more than anything. I want it. I want it from the bottom of my heart, from my stomach. And there is nothing I can do about it.
