Bubbles frequently crawls in bed with Buttercup. She’s always hated sleeping alone ever since the girls all got their own rooms. At first it was embarrassing, and made her feel like a little kid, but once the two started dating she didn’t have to be embarrassed anymore, and it made her so happy.

One cold night when she was about to sneak into Buttercup’s room, Buttercup suddenly showed up in her room instead.

“You took too long, I’m freezing my tits off over here!” Buttercup said before pulling the two of them into Bubbles’ bed and burrowing under the covers.

Bubbles was taken aback, but thrilled! For once she had someone climbing into her bed, and it was her favorite person of all!

Absolutely, thank you for asking! I can't remember everything I've already said about the ship, but I'll do my best to add something new lol

I just love the contrast between the two, and how they compliment each other. There's the obvious things like the dynamics of light/dark, grumpy/sunshine, sugar/spice, etc, but there's also the deeper aspects like how they express affection, they choices they make as superheroes, and how they interact with the world. Bubbles helps Buttercup appreciate the softer things in life, and Buttercup helps Bubbles get in touch with her bold, confident side. They provide a mutual balance, and as a couple I think they'd be beautiful together

There's also an element of codependency between them, I'd say. This feeling that they need each other, that they could never be with anybody else. There's the physical aspect of it, (which I've briefly talked about) that they could never be with a human because they'd always be holding back to prevent hurting them, but with each other they can fully let go and indulge in each other's bodies without fear

But it's also emotional, in the sense that Buttercup is Bubbles' strength, and Bubbles is Buttercup's heart. McCracken explained it once, that the three girls are a perfect triad, Mind (Blossom) Body (Buttercup) and Soul (Bubbles). Blossom, being the mind, would have the reason to know that what they're doing is "wrong", but take her out of the equation and you're left with raw emotion and physicality. While this would be horrible for the team, it's a recipe for a whole new kind of love between Bubbles and Buttercup without "logic" or reservations to hold them back.

They love each other, they need each other, and no force in the universe can keep them apart
