there  isn’t  a  hint  of  regret  nor  even  feigned  sympathy  on  charles’  face.  and  he’s  quite  accomplished  at  that  ----  more  than  capable  of  falsifying  any  form  of  anguish  and  apology  so  as  to  get  his  way.  he’d  used  it  on  his  parents  plenty  throughout  his  youth.  with  nova  though,  he  didn’t  quite  feel  the  need.  ❝  so  are  you  done  being  mad  at  me  yet  or  ...  ?  ❞  the  inquiry  is  punctuated  with  a  nonchalant  arch  of  his  brow,  though  he  doesn’t  make  eye  contact  with  her.  too  busy  rolling  the  blunt  on  the  table  in  front  of  him.  to  perfection  at  that.  and  upon  finishing  he  almost  too  proudly  waves  the  thing  around,  wanting  to  make  a  point  ----  and  well,  to  make  her  laugh.  hopefully.  ❝  let’s  make  a  deal,  you  forgive  me  ...  and  we  split  this  sativa  right  here.  ❞

      fingers  idly  twirl  her  blond  tresses  ,  a  rather  inviting  smile  on  her  lips  .   ‘  wow  ,  i  can’t  BELIEVE  i’m  finally  in  the  presence  of  the  nova  bae  !!  yoomi  has  told  me  so  much  about  you  !!  ’    the  blonde  lays  the  compliments  on  thick  ,  a  gentle  touch  to  her  thigh  as  she  leans  forward  to  laugh  before  she’s  sitting  back  up  straight  again  .    ‘  you  must  think  i’m  some  sort  of  stalker  ,  asking  her  to  let  us  meet  up  like  this  . . .  ’    yebin  pauses  ,  a  soft  sigh  emitting  glossed  lips  .    ‘  i’m  not  !!  i  just  ,  thought  you  were  pretty  . . .  have  to  make  sure  you  aren’t  leading  our  little  yoomi  on  .  ’

Oh. Jaewoo should have seen the inevitable occurring and frankly, he wonders how he didn’t see this one coming. As a part of his “Welcome to Seoul You’re Going To Have The Best Time of Your Life With Real Culture” operation tour for Nova, he instructed her to meet him at one of the sauna houses. Figuring that public nudity would already be too much to take it all at once, he told her just to change into the clothes so they can go “sweat it out” in one of the sauna rooms. Public nudity is a nightmare of his own and he obstinately remains in a long-sleeved shirt underneath the provided sauna uniform — ignoring the few judgemental side glances he receives. But he should have figured out that even a sauna would have no impact on his body as he sat in the steaming room with his arms folded, wondering why Nova wanted an early exit with a pleading grip to his hand. 

Now sitting cross-legged in one of the communal areas, he attempts to justify it with a wide smirk as he vainly tries to remember the correct words. “Uh Nova… isn’t that just because you’re smoking hot?” with a flirtatious wink, he desperately prays that he got that term correct from one American movie he vaguely remembers watching. Hopefully, the compliment will provide a bit of a distraction. “There is nothing wrong with me, you’re the one who is too hot!” to further divert her attention from the temperature of his body, he roughly whacks an egg against her head where he perched his handmade lamb head towel on her. “Hungry? Here, egg me too. You’re halfway on your way to becoming Korean now.”

everybody  probably  expects  a  sexual  daydream  when  it  comes  to  these  two.  however,  while  charles  has  had  plenty  of  these  to  last  a  lifetime,  he’s  also  had  some  softer  day  dreams  that  he  likely  won’t  admit  !  probably  a  daydream  about  them  being  in  a  committed  relationship,  him  being  “good  enough”  to  deserve  a  happy  relationship  with  nova,  introducing  her  to  his  dads  and  everything.  it’s  a  thing  he  wants  and  craves,  just  doesn’t  think  he  deserves  at  the  end  of  the  day.  it’s  why  he  acts  the  way  he  acts.

Aera has a big art collection (mostly paintings but some installations as well) which she keeps in two galleries. She strongly believes that art should not be privately own but exposed for other people so they could be delighted by its beauty therefore she had many of the pieces she bought on international auctions transferred to Gallery We 갤러리위 and PERROTIN SEOUL.
