i. Kakyoin sighed as he leaned back in his seat, flipping through the pages of his notebook once more. He’d been through those shiny green covers at least six times in the past few minutes, and he wasn’t sure what to do to entertain himself. He was a light sleeper, every little noise could easily wake him, and that wasn’t exactly helpful in an airplane he could barely hear himself think in.
ii. There was one option. He could strike up a conversation with the passenger next to him, a notably tall male who seemed rather quiet, but Kakyoin wasn’t exactly known for starting conversations of any kind. He was known for being silent, for being a loner – And this situation made it no different. Then again, it’s not like a little bit of conversation would hurt if it could just bring the redhead out of his nauseating, boring thoughts.
iii. He sighs. Asking himself what was the worst that could happen wasn’t exactly the best decision, considering he’d now sit there with a mental list of all the things that could possibly go wrong. He could make a fool of himself in so many different stupid, stupid ways. He really needed to get his act together.
“So…Rather boring flight, isn’t it?”
iv. Nevermind. Awful right off the bat.
