“Och! Loopy, dear!” Scrooge stumbled a bit forward, catching himself on his cane as the lass bounded off. He placed a hand to his cheek, giving a soft smile as he watched her go. Glad he was still around. A simple statement, but it made his heart swell.

“Aye! That Ah will, lassie!” He called after her. “Ye can count on it! So hurry back, ye hear!?”
