THIS IS AN OC X CANON FIC, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT KEEP SCROLLING BUT DON'T HARASS ME! Otherwise enjoy the show :)
The Hidden City bustled with life, all the lights and sounds; bright and lively as two teens walked through a path. A red panda and red-eared slider strolled next to each other.
"So how was that ramen place? Pretty cool huh?" Diana asked her companion, smiling up at him as she held her hands behind her back. Leonardo replied with a slight laugh in his voice "So good, why didn't you tell me about it earlier?" Diana only shrugged in response "You never asked!" She said with a soft giggle.
They soon arrived near the entrance of her family's pawn shop, sitting down on the steps. Leonardo glanced upwards, resting his head in the palm of his hands "I didn't realize until now that you don't have a sky in the hidden city." He said, Diana nodded her head. "Yeah, I mean even when I go up to the surface it's nothing special. I just wanna see something different.." she said with a soft sigh.
The boy glanced at her, deep in thought before standing up. He unsheathed his sword before holding out his hand for her to take "I got something I wanna show you" he said with a slight smile. Diana tilted her head to the side, her eyes narrowing a bit in confusion before she gave him a slight smile. She accepted his hand and lets him pull her up "I don't know if you actually know what you're doing" she said with a slight smile
"Oh come on! Have my portals ever steered us wrong?" He asked, to which she raises an eye brow in response. "You know what don't answer that, just hang onto me." He wrapped an arm around her shoulder as he made the portal.
Diana felt her heart skip a beat as she felt his arm around her, a soft blush appearing on her cheeks. The glow of the portal in front of them was a bit intimidating but they walked through anyway. The sound of crickets and the soft chill of the air greeted the two, the red panda yōkai looked at her surroundings. Her tail curled up as she then looked back at him.
"Where are we?" She asked him. Leo smiled in response before sitting down on the grassy hill "Look up and see.." he said.
Diana tilted her head before looking upwards, her eyes instantly lighting up at the sight. The night sky was covered in stars, a mix of different shades of blues and purples, it all felt unreal... She smiled brightly as she stared up, she nearly bounced up and down in excitement. "Oh my gosh... Leo it's totally gorgeous, it's like a galaxy!!! Do you see this?! Oh my gosh oh my gosh!!!"
Leonardo watched the girl with an unreadable expression. He watched her excitement, the way her brown eyes lit up, the way her ears wiggle, the way she smiled... And for the very first time, she seemed to glow...
Diana then flopped down onto her back next to him, turning her head with a smile "Thanks for showing me this Leo, you're the best." She said. Leonardo felt his face heat up a bit, but he quickly brushed it off with that stupid grin of his "yeah I know." Diana laughed and shoved him slightly, looking back to watch the stars
The doors to the med-bay opened up, Leonardo walked in to see Diana sitting on the edge of a cot. Her upper body was covered in gauze, blood staining her back. He winced at the sight before sitting down next to her "Hey Didi..."
Diana snapped out of her daze, her ears perking up a bit as she relaxed a bit at the sound of his voice "Leo! Hey..." she said with a tired smile. Leonardo smiled back at her, resting his forearms on his thighs "How's your back?" "It's fine... That Kraang hound had no chance against us huh?" She said with a slight laugh, lightly shoving him. The action caused him to laugh a bit looking down at the ground, causing the woman's smile to falter "Yeah..." He responded
Diana sighed, looking at him before gently taking his calloused hand in her own. She seemed hesitant to speak but she finally did "If we win this battle and we somehow make it out alive... Can we go see the stars again, like that one time?"
Leonardo lifted his head and stared back at her, those brown eyes of hers weren't the same back when they were young. They were tired and hardened, yet despite it all there was still a bit of hope. He could still see that glow around her... With a tightness building up in his throat, he finally gave her an answer.
project rolbox (title needs fixing) is once again pulling at me. Forever torn between needing to write this story for the absolute brilliance of it, and needing to be smart enough to write it. But just. This story is my catalyst. It tugs at me, needs to be told and understood. I need to stop talking about it and get it down, but how can I do a story such as this justice
[inspired by this post]
title from the frozen Broadway musical
Pearl: Scott- Why are you- I'm not the boogey i swear! [since when did Scott sprout wings?]
Scott: Wha-? Pearl please, just stay away from me! I don't wanna hurt you!
Pearl: What?
*pearl stops in her tracks, dumbfounded*
are- are you the boogey? [no that's stupid question Pearl, Scott would tell you if he was the boogeyman]
Scott had stopped running too, he stood roughly 40ft away, arms wrapped tightly around himself, hyperventilating
Pearl was finally able to get a good look at Scott. Or rather, as good as your gonna get from 40ft away in the middle of a blizzard.
Most obvious were the large feathery wings sprouting from his back, pearl had been able to see these even as Scott was running, and he had even picked up off the ground slightly a few times.
Then there was the lack of the mysterious little glimmers that always seemed to dance around his head creating a sort of halo, in there place stood a pair of majestic golden antlers branching out from his skull. Pearl wondered how she hadn't noticed them before.
He still had his bracelets of course. But instead of glowing, a signal of the lives he had left, they were pure gold.
and then there were his eyes, despite the distance and rapidly increasing snowfall, pearl could clearly see his eyes weren't green... nor yellow... nor red. Instead They glowed a bright icey aqua, terrified.
james sirius potter x reader (u can make it gn or fem i dont care, whatever you want). james is being bullied at school bc he’s the son of “the chosen one” but the reader, who is the first one to show kindness to him, helps him with fighting off the bullies n james falls for her. the reader has always had a crush on james too hehe
i hope you find this idea intriguing. write it however you want!
James has always had problems with being the son,
of the one and only, chosen one. Everyone always put pressure on him, pressure he didn't want. But when he had gotten the letter from hogwarts saying he was accepted, that opened a whole new window. He thought this was his chance. His chance to escape the struggles of his everyday life.
That was till he got to hogwartds, the minute his name was called, the whole place got silent, as they waited for the sorting hat to say what house he got.
"Hmm... you know I thought it would take longer till I saw another potter..." said the hat.
Everyone was on the edge of their seats, as they see the hat open its mouth...
"Better be... Gryfindor!!", everyone cheered from gryfindor, but that was really it.
On the way to the table he heard people whispers. "Wonder if he'll be as good as his dad." "I bet he won't be." "I heard he's nothing like his dad"
James thought it would go away soon... but oh was he wrong. Anywhere he went, he would get looked at. When he tried to make friends... they would either just ignore him or make fun of him, saying he was trying to hard to be like his dad.
Although there was one person who he never talked to but this person liked him from the beginning. That was another gryfindor, y/n. The reason they never talked was anytime y/n was around him, she would get nervous, and walk away.
That was till one day she saw him go up to a group of students and ask to sit with them. She saw them say no, and told him to get lost. She decided it was time to speak up.
"James, you can sit next with me..", she said catching his attention, when he walked by.
Of course he knew who she was. She was in his potions class, and a bunch of others. But when he would look at her she always looked away and walk away, or always had her head in a book. So to hear her say something was crazy to him
He looked at her for a second and sat down across from her. She looked at him and saw the hurt in his eyes.
"Hey... don't listen to them.. I-i think you are your own person, and aren't trying to hard."
He smiled a little, "thanks. I just have so much pressure on my shoulders from my parents to the professors comparing me to my dad."
He didn't know why but he was trusting her with everything. She sat there and smiled sadly at him.
"Listen you just need to be yourself... and in time I'm sure people will come to love the real James Potter"
He sat there looking into her eyes with endearment. She felt suddenly shy and looked away from his eyes. He just smiled and from that day on they became friends. But there was something else James heart wanted. He knew it too, but he was to nervous to tell her.
Y/n on the other hand, was getting fed up with acting like more then friends but then him not making a move. So one day at lunch she waited for James.
When she saw him, she got really nervous but she had to do this. Once he sat down, he knew so.ething was up.
"James Potter, I swear to God I can no longer do this ", she said while he sat down
He froze when she said that. "W-what do you mean?"
She pointed between her and him, "this! The pretending that we are just friends! When we honestly acted like a couple already!"
He smiled and exhaled, "you can't scare me like that! I thought this was important."
She looked at him, "James Sirius Potter. This is very serious."
He smiled more, "of course it is, but I'm saying I thought you wanted to stop being my friend. But yes I think we should stop being friends, and start to dats."
She smiled, and nodded her head. "So this weekend your taking me to hogsmeade?"
James smiled and shook his head, "I guess we can work that out but only if you come to my practices."
Beneath starlight that has travelled light years just to illuminate their faces, Aziraphale and Crowley’s paths drift closer and closer until they are nearly indistinguishable. They converge, reach a singularity, and create another world – an Eden where love roams free and apples are freely taken from trees.
A series of vignettes which tell the story of an angel, a demon, and the stars that witness how they fall in love.

Prompt from @freelancercarolina
"Hey, Caboose?"
"Hello Washington!" Caboose responded at a much louder volume than necessary, but Wash was used to that by now.
"Can you take care of something for me?" He asked.
"Yep!"
"You don't even know what it is."
"Yep."
Wash decided he would try to explain anyway. "You know how I don't like to have an AI in my head?"
"Yes."
"And you know we found an AI."
"Yes."
"Would you mind taking him for a while?"
"Take him where?"
"Wha–? Oh. No, just, watch him for a while, hang out, um. Do... things."
Caboose paused, then, "Like a babysitter?"
"Exactly!" Maybe this would be easier than he had anticipated. "Yes. Exactly that."
"Okay! My babysitter used to make s'mores in the microwave, but maybe he will be too small to eat a s'more. Do we have really small graham crackers?"
Wash decided that he didn't have the time to remind Caboose about holograms. "No, we don't. But, uh, maybe you should have him help with the microwave, if you use it. Speaking of which," he looked around, hoping that the AI's avatar would have appeared already. "Theta?"
The little purple hologram blinked into existence, almost reluctantly, in between the two men.
"Theta, this is Caboose," Wash said.
"Hi."
The tone of his voice made Wash's heart sink. He'd been like this since they'd found him– nervous, but more in a deflated sort of way. Defeated. It made Wash nervous too.
It didn't seem to phase Caboose, though. He gasped excitedly. "You are very nice colors!"
"Thanks." Theta's avatar shuffled his feet awkwardly. "When are you gonna be back, Wash?"
"Soon," he said. Truth be told, he didn't really have anywhere to be, he was hoping that one of the Reds or Blues would help cheer Theta up. They hadn't had much luck so far. "Don't worry. I think you'll like Caboose– Oh! Do you still know how to do fireworks?"
If a holographic projection could stiffen, Theta did. "I dunno."
Wash held his breath. Maybe bringing up something Theta had learned to show his dead freelancer wasn't a good idea.
"That's okay," Caboose said, oblivious. "Fireworks aren't all they're cracked up to be. They're loud and you can't even touch them, so, there's not really a difference between them and bombs. Neither of them are very friendly up close."
"I've never seen real fireworks," Theta admitted. "Mine are holographic. They're not that loud either."
"Oh, that's much nicer," Caboose walked forward again. "I do like things that don't explode in my face."
Theta hesitated, then, to Wash's surprise, asked, "Do you want to see?"
"Um, okay." Caboose started to take a few steps back.
"You dont have to do that," Theta said, a bit of a laugh in his voice. He waved his hand and showed Caboose an example firework, about the size of a man's palm, a few inches above Theta's head.
"Oh," said Caboose, as if it had all started to make sense. He walked back to stand in front of Theta.
Theta took that as a cue to make some more fireworks. He threw one, two, three tiny starbursts above his head, each accompanied by a little pop sound effect.
The fourth firework Caboose reached out to touch. Of course, as it was a hologram, his hand waved right through it, barely flickering in response to the disturbance.
He gasped, then, in a tone of awe and jubilation, said, "Ghost fireworks."
"I guess," Theta conceded, releasing another one.
"That's the best idea ever!"
Theta visibly turned his full attention to Caboose. "You think so?"
"Of all time!" Caboose insisted.
Theta's glow brightened noticeably. "Thanks!"
"Can you do two at a time?"
"Of course," Theta said, proudly obliging.
"Wow," Caboose almost whispered.
"I'll leave you two to play," Wash said.
For all the attention they paid him, he might as well have not said anything before he walked away; Caboose was now telling Theta how much he'd get along with Freckles. He'd come back in an hour or so, to see what happened. Carolina would be happy to hear that Theta had finally made a friend.
