Thank you ratboigles, bubblymaika, brian-my-left-testicle, and rotking for all of your kind words, it's really helping me from getting too upset. Thank you for your concern, it really does mean alot. :')

I'm going just keep an eye on him over the next few days - I'm going to try to keep from being too down on myself, because if that's what it is there's nothing that's really  going to help him besides keeping him comfortable and happy - and right now he seems to be doing fine, he chomped down a chunk of strawberry in his hospital cage a little bit ago and is napping. Of course, I'll be hoping that this is the end of things for him, things could always look up.

That’s why I specified teams that DON’T account for metagame threats. If your obscure gimmick actually has answering threats like m Kangaskhan or m Blaziken on its agenda, that’s not what I’m talking about. Those would be the strategies that stop being obscure and evolve the metagame because they work. I’m talking about teams that just use obscure Pokemon and strategies just because they’re obscure or unused. Sometimes with that line of thinking you’ll run across something that changes the meta, but usually all you learn is that it’s obscure because it sucks. And yet, people still try running them and get upset when they get stomped. If you ignore a common threat when you build your team you shouldn’t be shocked when you still see that threat and lose to it every time. It doesn’t matter how long you thought about the team building process if you leave out the important element of context, the meta

Also, m Kangaskhan is much less broken in double battles and VGC, the meta Smogon usually actively steers away from. Yes, it’s probably the most common Pokemon next to Garchomp, but there’s a HUGE variety in the remaining five team slots, and many top-placing teams at VGC events don’t even have their own m Kangaskhan, and find other ways to deal with it.

Also it’s hard to ignore when it’s the majority of recent posts in the tag most of the time… People who tag negative opinions of characters or ships usually don’t get ignored, they get dogpiled with anons screaming “DONT TAG YOUR HATE!” So it just makes me really sad to see that shit in my fav Pokemon’s tag
