Hi F1stuff 👋! First off, I wanted to say that I’m enjoying your content very much. I love that if I miss something on other platforms, I will most likely find it here XD. Second, I wanted to ask where the F1 fans hangout nowadays, if anywhere, for discussion purposes? I just came back to F1 earlier this year and I find myself needing to share and discuss with other fans. I found the F1technical subreddit for my technical discussions (albeit more questions than discussion). But I’m wondering where the people hang for discussion and exchanges purposes. It’s my first time being into F1 without rl friends, so I find myself in occasional need of people to discuss and digest. And well, it’s also a question of where the f1 slash ppl hang out? Discord? Merci!

Hi! (As per your other ask, it’s not an intrusion at all!) For me personally, I’ve just reached out to blogs on here that I liked and wanted to chat with to start a community (like you did here!), but I also joined a charlos discord where we often discuss other f1 news/livechat during the track sessions etc. I’m not sure about other discords for other ships or specific drivers but I know they’re out there, as well as discord servers for particular f1 podcasts where ppl discuss!

I would just reach out to the blogs you like or comment on posts to start interacting with people, and those communities will start revealing themselves! (Tumblr introduced the ‘communities’ feature as well, but I haven’t really interacted with that much tbh. If you’re interested in the charlos discord, you can reach out to @c2-eh and see if you like us over there!)

Anyone feel free to add to this post with advice!

Nine People I'd Like to Know Better

I've been tagged by the lovely @rawrkittenpurr. I.. am afraid someone else may have tagged me a few weeks ago.. I am very sorry. I did not overlook you.. I was probably overwhelmed ;_; (if I find you I will tag you too). Starting this while at work otherwise I'll miss it again..

Last Book: The last book I started was 'My Brain Still Needs Glasses: ADHD in adolescents and adults', which might explain why I don't remember what the last book I finished.. I have been reading book 2 of A Song of Ice and Fire, A Clash of Kings, for... 4 years? I think The Three Body Problem by Liu Cixin may have been the last one I finished..

Last Song: That I listened to is 'I Adore You (w J Balvin & Ellie Goulding) by HUGEL, J Balvin, Ellie Goulding, Topic, Arash, Deacolm'. It always sends me into such a Isekai Gabico moment (I need to see them dancing together). The last song that I liked was 'ONE TRACK MIND by Naïka' because IG did its thing. It's been sending me down such a kompa rabbit hole back to my high school years (spoiler alert: that was a long time ago).

Last Film: SINNERS. Completely loved it. I thought I was sitting down for a commentary on social segregation, which it was, but a VAMPIRE MOVIE? Including ancient Native Americans AND the link between Native Americans and Ireland? And muuuusic. So much muuuuuusic.

Last Series: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and Industry (simultaneous). My go-to (volunteering information) is House of Cards (Netflix version)

Last Video Game: I don't play video games but I love watching play-throughs online. Black Myth: Wukong is on my to-watch list, one of the Assassin's Creed is the last I watched. Watching Teamredline if iRacing is a video game. Anything Glidus shares on his twitch because i love his humour.

Sweet or Salty: Savoury. Umame. MSG baby (haha). If it's only between sweet and salty, then salty (but i get bored of both really fast, while I don't get bored of savoury ever).

Coffee or Tea: Tea (caffeinated or herbal). I tried coffee, but as much as I once got very nerdy about coffee preparation, I don't like it. I love tea. Especially black teas (hmmmm earl grey! earl grey creme!), oolong, flavoured teas, non-flavoured tea. Love milk oolong, love OSMANTHUS anything, love pu-erh, and love matcha (latté or not).

Working on: Work. But fandom-wise, three Gabico fics. 1-a ficlet for @christianhornier. 2-a Ikesai Gabico that's been haunting my waking hours.. 2025 Gabi meeting 2010 Nico.. all young and serious and how I keep thinking of.. well.. sexual tension.... 3-a multiverse Gabico where Nico is sent into an alternative timeline where... Gabi is darker and self-destructive and there is no Egle or Noemi.. this one isn't really thought through. It's more an idea/feeling for now

I don't wanna force anyone but I definitely want to get to know more of you. First F1 Experience for Gabriel Bortoleto

Okay Gabico nation, do we know when was the first time that Gabi attended / watched a formula one race?

I know his first experience with racing was karting and the allure of the podium. But I specifically mean if he ever attended or watched at home a formula one race? I can't find info (in English at least).

@powerdadbatman I for sure won't be able to make the premiere that's for sure, not just because I would most likely be travelling then, but simply because that's something I'd like to live with my friend, but she would never be able to free herself for the kind of time one needs to be able to get a spot to see anything at all. Regardless, I'll be happy being able to live it with her and be able to discuss it afterwards, as well as enjoy being in "Gotham" and "Metropolis" while watching JL!

I totally get it! November can't come soon enough.

a more personal post

this tumblr has been, for most of its existence, just a way for me to reblog privately any posts I wanted to keep for myself, of any fandom I've been part of through the years, with a very poor (read, non-existent) tagging system.

However, over the past few years, I have been going through a rough patch with an important person in my life. This person was someone with whom I could discuss things, fandoms yes, but also just anything in my life. As the rough patch has been quite continuous, I find myself needing to exteriorize some of those musings and thought processes. I started writing them down in my journal, but then they are quite random and not deep by any means, and thus seemed a bit incongruous with the rest of the journal. I therefore decided to experiment on this blog (I also can't deal with the admin of more than one account, so it will all be here).

I don't expect to have much of those, but if anyone following would prefer not to have these ramblings on their feed, I will tag these posts with two tags: bubreherro and bubreherro thoughts. Feel free to filter them out.

That being said, I feel this will lead to some written analyses as part of my current fandom, Formula 1 (specifically Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr, with some other drivers too).
