    This EXPERIENCE was definitely an odd one, to stumble upon lost family at sea had been the last thing he ever thought would occur. Yet is seemed his GRANDFATHER did not know who he was, or what had come of his own son. Connor remains silent when the pirate lays claim upon the Aquila. Yet when one of his own men are roughly shoved to the ground, something in him snaps.

    “They have done nothing w r o n g, you have taken my ship, why must you treat my men so cruelly?” He snarls, even if he’s younger than all of them.

On a scale between mildly annoying children nearby to scary Bleeding Effect-status migraine, his headache that began to bloom within his skull was probably around staring into the sun without even having water. Though at least Desmond understood it was perhaps due to the pressure change in the weather system around the city, given that it felt more like a sinus headache than anything else. Ah, the thoughts that graced his apparently idle mind.

Dropping his hand, the bartender blinked at the blond stranger -- and his headache intensified. It was like his mind had decided that the man’s lightly-hued locks were rays of sunshine, though clearly not. Desmond held out a hand to the side, tipping slightly to lean heavily upon a nearby pole, finding himself already fighting off nausea.

Okay, this was getting towards Bleeding Effect danger levels.

“Hey -- man... sorry, but uh, you know a good doc around or someone to get me some medicine? Preferably without any huge checkups or too many questions.”

Shinedown's For My Sake?

Put a song in my ask box that reminds you of my muse, and I'll rate it anywhere from 1-10 on how much I agree.

Yooo I’ll give it a solid nine out of ten; this is really gelling with Haytham for me. It loses points for dragging a bit on retrospection in the opening and picks them up again as it moves forward. ( [haytham voice] i’m never looking back for my sake. ) Out of all the Templar Grand Masters that we’ve seen in the series thus far, Haytham seems the most interested in doing his own thing. He’s very much centered in who he is and what he’s about; he’s not in it for glory and at the same time he doesn’t want to be ignored; he goes at his own pace and he is exactly where he wants to be at any given time. His self-awareness ( whether he acknowledges it / actually does anything about it or not ) is incredible, though it can swing into sarcastic/self-deprecating territory depending on his age. He doesn’t think he’s faultless, but at the same time, he’s not letting insecurities hold him back from doing what he thinks his right. He’s the type who would regret not taking a chance more than he would making a mistake. It also... nicely covers his entire timeline which is so rare... and allows for some introspection regarding his opinion of the Brotherhood that isn’t just bitter / gloating but is more reflective and mildly disappointed which is extremely in character for him and I’m loving it. I’m actually a little choked up because anything that relates Haytham to memories / history is just so good. This is also in Connor & Haytham territory which gets me; I can’t not love it if it relates to ACIII Kenway family bonding. Really good. Really really good. 9/10.

             The slight clanging of swords was a homely sound.  Ironrath               had been a place where people   could  train, and  when  she               had been given the privilege  to   learn   how   to  do  it.  It  was               impressive.
