I came late to the glee fandom I never knew Diana and Naya was so close until I saw loads of Halloween pictures from different years of them and it makes me sad they didn’t use that chemistry for friendship (or relationship if you ship them). Instead we got loads of padding that went nowhere
Oh man Rivergron had such awesome chemistry and they used it for what, mainly conflict here and there and one hookup. At this point I'm just grateful for what we did get but those two could have been so much more on the screen. I've long advocated for a proper midgame Quinntana ship and it pains me that so, soooo much of their friendship is lowkey and hidden in subtleties in their acting. They have such an interesting season 2 plot, for example, but it's very much in the background.
I love the way Dianna and Naya talked about each other in real life though. No shipping real people over here, that's not what I mean, just Naya gushing about Dianna in her book and Dianna speaking about Naya with such adoration in every interview. It's very wholesome. As tumultuous as the Quinntana relationship was, Rivergron seem like they were in pure awe of each other.
Someone that worked as an extra on glee on season 3 on the prom episode said that Naya cried on the first take of Take My Breath Away and when everyone asked her if she was ok she said that she is but she loves her as in Dianna so much.

Listen, we all know the glee writers had trouble separating cast drama from the show but why did they have to give us crap like the Pezberry feud when, if they played their cards right, a Quinntana Wonderland breakup duet would've been RIGHT THERE for the taking??
