Savage She-Hulk vol 1 #5
Written by David Anthony Kraft, Pencils by Mike Vosburg (full info and image source here)
Summary: Jen stops a bridge from collapsing, and then finds Monkton and Trask are behind Roxxon’s stolen oil.
Thoughts: Bukowski is obnoxious but we can see how Jen has to fight against him, which is cool. I mean, he's a jerk so it's good that she's fighting against him. The worm thing itself, which is Trask’s weapon, is kind of creepy. It's actually really creepy. Another thing about this issue is that Jen is representing Roxxon Oil, and they are real scummy, right? I know not every little thing has to be some MESSAGE, especially in popcorn reading like this, but I have no idea if they’re trying to say something about industry or about how everyone has a right to justice? Probably nothing is what they’re saying, but it felt like they were trying to get at something.
Worth Reading? It’s fine. Seems to close Trask’s chapter as a baddie for now.
