Stupid rant

Ok I know Buck is a asshole and I am not defending the fact that what he told steven was wrong but let's take a minute to look at what may have caused the whole thing. Buck being the mayors son wold mean his father would have been away alot when he was younger and or not have been able to pay much attention to him. However as a small kid he still loved his dad unconditionally and even wanted to help (aka the flier he drew as a child ) but then as he began to grow up he began to more or less became angry at his dad for never really paying attention to him and this caused his daddy issue. I think that Buck saw Steven and saw a little bit of his younger self in him and didn't want the same to happen to Steven but he still also was mad himself for acting the way he did when he was younger so he took out that aggression on Steven. In the end that was the reason he said it was "funny " with the whole art and loving you dad so much thing still thinking back to his younger self. In the end I think it was more a blunt rage response. Over all Buck is like a ass but not too much so and I still love the kinda bro relationship he has with steven. (Forgive my rambling about stuff you knew already I just kinda needed to say it)
