Top 5 Touhou characters?

1) I’m sorry to say my fav is still Seija..... fandoms come and go but her and Shinmyoumaru still mean so much to me. at this point it’s even hard to write why she’s my number 1, bc I feel like a lot of (admittedly old) followers already know lol. she’s a complex character and I like her for that mainly. I still can’t believe she came back in the latest book
2) Shinmyoumaru brings me a lot of comfort as a character and she makes me so happy! my take on her has changed a lot over the years and it feels like how I see her has grown up just like I did as a person, if that makes sense! it might not always align with how she is ““in canon”” now, but every time she’s had an official appearance has filled me with joy. she’s very special
3) the blonde girl from DiPP, for ppl who consider it part of touhou lore (I know some don’t), for her beautiful design and the many ways she can be interpreted, and for how fun and warm the DiPP community is on twitter!
4) I didn’t pay much attention to Akyuu at first, but she’s grown on me over the years! I love her concept, her design, how she looks so elegant yet actually she makes fun of ppl in her official work and she writes fanfics and stans a youkai punk rock band
5) everytime I redo the sorter my number 5 is different... so no preference rn: Junko for her story and beautiful design, Yuki for her temperament and for being an absolute darling, my old fav Eiki, and Reimu for her concept and how much she embodies the series to me
