I'll come out and say it, i like the bsd light novels better than the manga and the anime. I think this is also the reason why the flashbacks at the start of every season are so good because they are based on the light novels. I also think asagiri is way better at writing characters than plot given how convoluted the plot of bsd gets. Before reading the light novels dazai and chuuya were pretty meh characters for me, i only started liking them after reading the novels.

There’s a huge BSD announcement coming out in the next couple hours, according to Studio Bones… I’m so so scared akdbskdj istg if they try to do another anime season and make stormbringer only like 3-4 episodes…
Praying it’ll be a movie, either adapting stormbringer (PLZZZ) or this recent arc maybe. But we rly dont have enough manga material for season 5 yet… they already make so many horrible choices for the anime adaption I cant stand them turning stormbringer into another quick messy arc like they did for entrance exam or 15… dark era is the better of the adaptations but its a lot shorter… if theyre doing a stormbringer or beast adaption I hope they do it as a movie…
