okay i know, not the best way to start an intro but i told you i’m really bad at it smh
at 22 years old and as the youngest of the siblings, daniella had always been given just enough attention, but not too much as she had two other siblings in line for the crown already, which resulted in her being just the right amount of care-free – enough to experience life outside of the royalty lines but not too much to draw attention
growing up, she was close with her family members, especially her siblings. till she was around 19, which means about three years ago, everything was perfect in their lives … or at least, seemed to be
unknown to daniella, her father aka the king of denmark had been involved in an affair with someone else and upon finding out, the queen confronted the king and soon a fight broke out, resulting in the queen’s death
this happened while the king, queen and daniella were on a trip so the only witness was dani, who happened to hear the sounds from inside their suite and decided to go in, only to see her father on top of her mother, strangling her
she fled the scene, the death got passed as an assassination & daniella shut down her father’s attempts at making her believe that it was an accident. she knew what she saw and nothing would change her mind
while the arranged marriages might be a burden to some, it feels like an escape route for daniella who had some “accidents” this past year, barely surviving a car crash as the last one – she believes that the king is trying to shut her up for good. so coming to buckhingam was a safe haven for her ?? this way, she can try to tell her siblings of what she’d seen in a safe environment and hopefully bring justice to her mother’s death from a safe distance
speaking of her siblings, they mean the world to her and she’d die & kill for either of them. literally.
personality wise, despite what happened three years ago, she’s still kind and fun-loving with an never-ending energy to keep her up for adventure at any given time
but she can be quite stubborn as well – if she’s being stubborn about something, it’d take only a selected few who might be even more stubborn than her to change her mind
is likely to befriend anyone who’s kind enough ?? but if you fall on her bad side, expect 100% bitterness, sarcasm and a load of eye-rolls

she is the second oldest of the siblings, from germany. while she had always got along well with her siblings, her parents were quite strict on her, making her feel as if she was not living up to their expectations which led to her becoming more insecure and quiet.
growing up, she relied on books more than people. she had always been one to bottle things up instead of telling people of her problems – her safe haven was always her books; she’d rather get lost in the stories and escape real life whenever things got rough.
aside from that, she had a fairly normal upbringing – as normal as a princess’ could be. that was till her parents tried to arrange an engagement for her with someone who she never could quite like. she felt as if there was always something off with him and ended up refusing all his advances.
it turned out, this prince was responsible for his older brother’s death in order to become the crown prince himself and when it was exposed, he went through a full breakdown, holding andrea hostage for two days. he demanded money and an escape from the german royal family and the whole duration, he mentally abused her, repeating over and over again how useless she was, etc.
of course, his escape plan failed and andrea was recovered without a scratch on. but ever since, she had been dealing with ptsd but could never get treatment because her parents believed such mental problems were a shame and the image of the princess within the public must remain as the strong hero who got out of that situation unharmed.
for almost ten years now, she had to deal with it alone, trying her best to look out for herself by not getting herself in situations that might trigger it, like small dark places, especially cells of sorts in general.
personality wise she’s a bit quiet – it’s not like she doesn’t like people, in actuality she actually cares for people a lot, even ones she doesn’t know, but she’s basically bad at communicating. her insecurities, lingering ptsd and general shyness don’t help at all sdfdjkf
so when she feels like she must, she will pursue conversations but will be very bad at it.

for character development, i’d actually love some friends she gains here who’ll help her branch out more and be … a … social human being ??? as well as some old friends who might feel what’s up with her (mental-wise). maybe a past skinny love kind of thing but they could never be because how shy and awkward she could get ?? idk just give me everything !!

was born to a rather poor couple and despite their lack of funds to care for a baby, they initially wanted to keep her regardless but soon they realized that there was something wrong with her and upon a check-up at the local hospital, it was seen that she had a rare heart condition which would require intensive care as there was no final treatment found yet.
at loss of what to do with their lacking funds, the parents decided to give her up. hoping someone who worked there would take her in, they left her at the door leading to the stables, knowing a hostler would go in there every morning. but that morning in particular, the king decided to go on a ride in the early hours and found kate himself.
it was almost instantly settled that she would be adopted into the royal family and everything was going well after that day until they found out about her condition during a check-up unrelated to it. ever since, katelyn had been under supervision 24/7, someone always around to make sure she wouldn’t overwork herself as it could be fatal.
simply out of gratitude for her parents and not wanting to upset her family, katelyn went by the rules all her life, never left the country, didn’t do anything that could endanger her well-being but it’s surely taking a toll on her, someone who dreams of adventures, meeting new people, building a life of her own, falling in love ...
at first her family was super unsure about sending her to the summit but since they had kept her condition a secret for twenty-two years, they knew they had to let her attend. kate promised to be more careful than ever and is now here at the summit, more excited than she’s ever been in her life.

so … this binch is adrian, he’s 24 years old and the prince of the usa !!
his earlier life wasn’t so eventful ?? honestly, he was simply raised in a less strict manner than his older siblings because he was not to take the throne one day. and adrian truly took it for granted.
he attended one of the best private high schools in the states and later got into college as a political studies major and boy did he have the time of his life there but also ... his severe alcoholism developed during his college years.
it was also when he fell in love for the first time ! this is related to his issues with alcohol sos
he had been more of a casual fling kind of guy up until he met her. so, she was another royal, he was … whipped ! and was also super happy that she was also royalty, that he could actually see their relationship going somewhere in the end, if they were to get married one day it would be accepted by his parents & be beneficial for both their countries. ( THIS IS A WANTED CONNECTION !! could be filled by one of the already existing characters in the rp !! )
but ofc i love pain – she cheated on him with another royal. now it’d depend on whoever takes this wc that if she never really loved adrian or if she just fell out of love but the damage is done and now adrian is not very trusting, relationships wise. and after their break-up, he relief heavily on alcohol and now we’re here.
he is … a lil careless. likes to live dangerously, it’s his hobby. but he’s also sarcastic ??? and wouldn’t say no to some good fun. loves his bike more than 90% of the people around & is very likely to befriend you if you strike a conversation on that.
with friends and family he’s very loyal. he’s that person you can lean on and be assured that he’ll take care of whatever problem you might be having if you have him in your life. but if you are a stranger to him, he might as well pass by without batting an eye as you cry.
