‘ yeah. tons of different things that all include drinking tea i bet. ’ the prince rolled his eyes, looking back at the building. he was glad that they had gained their independence from england all those years ago. hearing the word ‘vodka’, though, his attention was grabbed immediately. ‘ that’s ... well, some alcohol would make things betteer for sure. ’

“you’re welcome to go hide somewhere else if you want, i’ll cover for you.” angie promised as she came and sat next to him, looking up at the palace just as her brother was. “i think i’m starting to get why exactly we demanded independence from these people, they’re boring and wound up as fuck. i don’t think i can survive all the talk about tea...” she dramatically gestured vomiting at the prospect.
his expression visibly lighting up at the sight of his sister, adrian let out a sincere laugh ( which wasn’t a very common occurrence ) , shaking his head. ‘ i know you would. but if i left, with whom could you trash talk about the brits ? ’ he nudged her gently, a grin on his face before he looked back at the palace, cringing his face. ‘ boston tea party, forever thankful. ’ he shook his head. ‘ this is gonna be a nightmare. ’
“bullshit, indeed,” lukas replied with a small laugh. “i’m glad we’re on the same page, someone feels the same way as i do.” there was no sarcasm in his voice, just him being completely serious. “i didn’t think i would come across this, with all these other ‘royals’ and their heads ten feet up their own ass.”
surprised to see that someone was actually agreeing with his ideas on the matter, adrian raised his eyebrows as he looked at the other. ‘ i never thought i’d meet someone with the same thoughts on all this. ’ he mused truthfully, a small, amused smile appearing on his face. ‘ maybe this won’t be too much of a hell after all. ’ he reached his hand out in a casual way despite what most royals would do here. ‘ i’m adrian, of the usa. ’
‘ so, what, is this gonna be what our lives are all about for however long it takes to get done with the shenanigans ? bumping into someone wherever you walk, stuck in this old, gloomy, boring place -- ’ he huffed out, sitting up properly on the grass as he looked over the building before him. ‘ bullshit. ’
it was bittersweet to be back at buckingham after the events of the past few months. the young princess still wasn’t back to her usual self after her trauma and it was clearly showing to those around her. the summit was the last thing she wanted to think about and just wanted to see how james was but couldn’t bring herself to do it just yet. still feeling incredibly guilty for her part in all of this she attempted to clear her mind with a walk in the gardens. as she headed towards the door to outside her mind was so distracted that she didn’t even see someone coming the opposite direction before they collided. “oh no, i’m so, so sorry,” she lamented, “i suppose i need to pay better attention to where i’m going around here now.”
having just finished his usual morning run, adrian was about to return to his chambers, his mind full of thoughts on the summit. even though it’s been a long while since his last serious relationship and heartbreak he still didn’t feel ready to be in one, regardless of it being a merely political one. his usual fast, long pace along with his distracted state did contribute to the collide just when he passed the door and even though he would have made a fuss out of it normally, this time he knew half of the blame was on him. ‘ nah it’s fine, guess i wasn’t looking either. you good ? ’ mused the american prince, lifting his shoulders before giving a nod of his head. ‘ that’s right, though -- with the amount of people around here, it’s bound to be one hell of a crowded place. ’

his earlier life wasn’t so eventful ?? honestly, he was simply raised in a less strict manner than his older siblings because he was not to take the throne one day. and adrian truly took it for granted.
he attended one of the best private high schools in the states and later got into college as a political studies major and boy did he have the time of his life there but also ... his severe alcoholism developed during his college years.

he had been more of a casual fling kind of guy up until he met her. so, she was another royal, he was … whipped ! and was also super happy that she was also royalty, that he could actually see their relationship going somewhere in the end, if they were to get married one day it would be accepted by his parents & be beneficial for both their countries. ( THIS IS A WANTED CONNECTION !! could be filled by one of the already existing characters in the rp !! )
but ofc i love pain – she cheated on him with another royal. now it’d depend on whoever takes this wc that if she never really loved adrian or if she just fell out of love but the damage is done and now adrian is not very trusting, relationships wise. and after their break-up, he relief heavily on alcohol and now we’re here.
he is … a lil careless. likes to live dangerously, it’s his hobby. but he’s also sarcastic ??? and wouldn’t say no to some good fun. loves his bike more than 90% of the people around & is very likely to befriend you if you strike a conversation on that.
with friends and family he’s very loyal. he’s that person you can lean on and be assured that he’ll take care of whatever problem you might be having if you have him in your life. but if you are a stranger to him, he might as well pass by without batting an eye as you cry.
