Buddie + royal au???

ooooh ty alex i love royalty aus. this ended up way longer than any of the others. oops. the rest is under the line

1. maddie is the heir to the throne. which means buck’s responsibilities are limited. he avoids the media at all costs (but god they’re persistent) and he breaks every royal rule in the book because what are they gonna do? kick me out of the family? who gives a fuck.

so it’s no surprise when buck sneaks out (again) without his royal ensemble. he doesn’t go anywhere in particular. just wanders off. he eventually finds himself in a park. 

2. eddie could not care less about the royal family. the buckley’s are in every magazine and tabloid but eddie truly could not care less. he thinks it’s stupid how idolized they are.

he’s at the park with his team. they’re all eating lunch together while the kids are off on the playground. may goes with the kids to ‘supervise’ but she’s clearly having more fun on the swing set than any of them.

after everyone eats, eddie offers to collect all the garbage. on his way to the trash, he’s stopped by a woman who clearly sees no problem in touching a complete stranger. she rests her hand on his shoulder and bats her eyelashes, dropping some compliment that eddie couldn’t be bothered to listen to. a second hand drops to his waist and he thinks great, now there’s two of them. but he’s surprised to see the hand belongs to a man (a very tall and attractive man thank you very much).

“is there a problem here?” the man asks and the woman leaves, muttering something about all the hot ones are gay. eddie doesn’t get a chance to thank the man before he leaves with a wink.

“oh my god, you do realize who that was, right?” hen asks.

“should i?”

3. buck continues to make a habit of sneaking away. he’s gotten good at getting away undetected. but he must’ve fucked up somehow, because he sees two body guards across the street looking for him (fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck). so he does what any normal person would do and he jumps in the nearest unlocked car. he realizes too late that there’s someone else in the car.

“it’s you again.” buck gestures. he swallowed his pride. “can you do me a huge favor and just, step on it. take us anywhere, i don’t care just– not here.”

eddie hesitates, but drives off nonetheless, “only because i owe you one.”

4. they talk in the car. well, eddie talks. buck mostly lies. or at least half-lies. he leaves out one major detail, because if eddie knows he’s the prince then he’s pretty much obligated to turn him in, and buck really doesn’t want this car ride to end.

being in eddie’s truck makes him feel normal. if he could, he’d live in this moment forever.

5. they drive for a few miles before eddie pulls over, but buck can’t bring himself to open the door. he says his thank you’s but remains firmly seated.

eddie senses buck’s uneasiness but says nothing. he simply shifts the car back in gear and starts driving again.

“let’s go get dinner.”

1. a movie you’ve seen most times in cinema.

i don’t usually see things more than once in theaters so probably ghostbusters (2016) because my grandmother loved it and i took her like 3 times !!

49. a book you want to see adapted to the big screen.

definitely the lunar chronicles series!!! it’s a cool sci fi take on cinderella that i loved as a kid!! it’s still one of my favorite series and i think it would be incredible as a movie!!

55. favorite superhero film.

god this is so hard. i love ant-man (and the wasp) bc it’s really fun and feels like a comic book!! and iron man because they sort of did it so perfectly and it really set the rest of the mcu in motion! and the christopher reeve superman bc it’s campy and silly but has heart and they really nailed clark kent!!!
