I have a very fun theory that when the zombies zombie out they don’t lose control of themselves per-say. They just get very hyper off of the emotion they are feeling in the moment.

So when they feel in danger, or angry, or have the urge to protect someone, when they zombie out just amplifies those feelings.

For instance in the first movie when Zed corners Bucky, that wasn’t Zed just happening to find him, he was actively hunting Bucky down. When Zed Zombied out it amplified his anger towards Bucky.

My silly theory (which I don’t think is a theory) is supported by the other movies.

GENUINELY cannot wait to see Principal Bucky Buchanan and how he interacts with the new cast members! I feel like he would see a bit of himself in Ray.

ALSO HIS OUTFIT IS JUST???? AGHH I LOVE IT. IT DEFINITELY SUITS HIM.

I have this weird whump idea for Zeddison, since Zed nearly died in zombies 4, I thought- why don't we flip the script?

What if Addison had caught some kind of alien sickness that would be mild if she was fully alien, but she's only part alien, so she goes through symptoms like throwing up blood, (which is blue, please don't forget to make her a little freak) drastic mood swings, etc and nearly dies.

Zed goes through a spiral thinking about the time he nearly died, and everyone else is also having a hard time. Bonus if the Daywalker and Vampire children are there to take care of their mom💙 and extra bonus if Bucky also has a mental breakdown because he doesn't want to lose his cousin 🥰🥰.
