i think shane was a great character but a shit person. idk i feel like excusing his behavior does his character injustice because he wasn't there to be the misunderstood anti-hero. like shane shows the absolute worst in humanity because of what he does to keep himself on top. i mean shane is super interesting as a character but he's only ever looked out for numero uno.
