If you travelled back in time to events of Captain America: The first avenger and fell in love with bucky after steve busted him out of hydras weapon factory.
And buck learns that you're from the future, and you tell him bits about your life and future inventions and he ends up falling for you too. And wants to go back to the future with you.
Imagine Director Nick Fury seeing you come back, hand in hand with 1940s bucky barnes and being all, what the epic fuck have you done?! And you reply:
"I have taken a soldier who has seen the worst parts of war, and i've taken him home".
And director fury is all, well when you put it that way....fair enough.
