Jugg (Remix) - PirateStoops
PirateStoops (Pyrex Pirates & Buddha Stoops) come thru with a gritty a** track titled "Jugg" The chemistry between the two groups is evident and I hope this is just the beginning of "PirateStoops" You can bang your head as they trade verses over the chilling choir instrumental. Who had your favorite verse on "Jugg"? Let us know in the comment section.
Ak Ft King - Paper (Official Video)
Buddha Stoops are back with a brand new visual, more specifically AK & King. The track "Paper" is relatively diverse and the visual is straight forward. Which can be both a double edge sword, but I think it works out well for the stoops. Hopefully throughout the year, the collective will heat up on the visuals. I already know their live performances are going crazy, so next time their in your city, please pay them a visit. For now stream the Dylan Faulkenberry directed visual.
Undefeated - Bryce Hankins Ft AK
I've been seeing this track around the net quite a bit lately. Glad I finally gave in and checked it out. Rising rapper Bryce Hankins teams up with AK from the Buddha Stoops tribe for this track that can't be beat. At first I was thinking the trap track was very Travis Scott inspired because of the undesirable moaning in the chorus, but the song is a bit more diverse than that. Thankfully to the verses from Hankins and AK; They carry this song all the way home. Are you feeling this track? Let us know in the comments.
The 5 Best Rap Collectives in Dallas
It's been a few days since I've done a list, but I'm back and this time I'm covering my 5 favorite DFW rap collectives. First off know and understand the difference between a collective and a group kind of like The Pyrex Pirates. Or a Label of sorts like IRAS. Collectives have displays as groups but also focus on their own individual works as well. Lets get right into this, and I hope you guys enjoy. Let me know if I was right or was i stupid wrong in the comments.
$ix Co
Six Co has been making big moves as of recently, and I think a lot of people are starting to notice their hardwork. These guys have been on damn near every rap show this summer, and right njow I'd say they're currently on a hotstreak with their last few singles like "OMW" and "Fukk Shit" The jump and mosh rap collective probably has a few more memebers than I realize, but the ones that are standing out to me are Gee, Bubba T, and Savage. If they keep up they great work Six Co could have 2016 in the bag.
Crit Life
Now there's been a lot of debate and controversy over this collective right here. A lot of turmoil, Beef, or whatever you'd like to call it. But regardless of anything I've heard Crit Life deserves credit when it's fucking due. They undoubtedly have one of the biggest cult followings in the Dallas Fort Worth area, and I think that's undeniable. They throw some of the livest events too. Although the Crit Life train is growing I'm only waiting on one thing. A damn project. I've been waiting so long for Crit World Order or Crit America that I forgot I was even waiting.
HY-Lyfe Society
Hy-Lyfe Society might just be the most talented and diverse collective on this list. With members like Ea$e, K.Vation, Brandon Paul and Aaron Tarrant. Yeah they have a star studded roster. Some of the most talented youth within the city and the southern region as a whole. I think Hy-Lyfe released a project last year, but it didn't make waves like it was supposed to. It was unorganized quite frankly. I think all the collective needs right now is to realign and refocus. Because guys like Ea$e and K.Vation are killing soundwaves single handedly; Imagine what they could accomplish all together.
Elevaeted
A collective that kind of came out of the wood works, well at least in my opinion Elevaeted is one of the only collectives that seems to have firm grasp on that classic hip-hop sound, and know that i think about it that's something that Dallas really needs right now. I first heard about these guys literally a few months ago from Say Cheese. They dropped what i think is their debut project at least as a collective. It's nice, but I think the next one will be next level. Today also showed me that they've got a pretty nice following. They've got something brewing in Dallas. Pay attention.
Buddha Stoops
Last group on the list, but most certainly not the least Buddha Stoops. Until earlier today I thought that Buddha Stoops was only a single person, but come to find out they actually meet my requirements for a collective. Their sound is a tad left field, but I dig it. I think my standouts would be Ol' Dirty and AK. Yeah i was extremely slumped on Buddha Stoops, glad I got put on. These guys actually do really good numbers on Soundcloud too. I'm guessing somewhere around a million streams for just a few projects. Excited to see more of these guys this winter and in 2016.

These are the kind of rappers I want to see at music festivals. Although it is cool to see artists like Drake at the top of lineups these guys fit the scene much better. Spitting that trippy, drug infused, conscious expanding flow laced with magical triple optic lyrics.
