the sunshine buddy project
🐝 what is it? this is basically a randomized buddy system that pairs you to a sunshine advocate (member/non-member) once a week! the main objective of this project is to promote positivity through companionship. this is because we believe that celebrating the spirit of sharing and kinship will not only help you expand your social bubble but it could also help you become a more positive person. ultimately, we aspire that the sunshine buddy project could build online friendships that will last for a long time.
🐝 how does it work? 1. fill out this really short form that asks for your name and url: link) 2. once you have submitted, the names/urls compiled will be randomized and divided in pairs. 3. the buddy pairing will be posted on this blog depending on the availability of the moderator 4. once you have identified your pair, you may now leave a message to your sunshine buddy’s inbox! 5. you can also reblog this if you wanna promote the project!! 6. of course we would appreciate it if you give this blog a follow for regular updates!
🐝 when could we sign-up? signing up to be part of the sunshine buddy project will be closed every monday, 12:00 PM (GMT+8) and will be open again on the same day (monday), 8:00 PM (GMT +8). the list of buddies will be posted within the entire day (monday) or early morning on the next! 💛
🐝 can non-members join? yep! it’s open for everyone!
🐝 i have already signed up a week ago. do i have to sign up again? yes, the list is cleared and refreshed once a week.
🐝 if you have any questions, suggestions, etc regarding this project, feel free to leave your thoughts on this blog’s inbox!
hope to see you on the list, sunshines 💟
Congrats if you: • got out of bed • did the dishes or laundry • cleaned up your house • finished an assignment The little victories matter.

TIPS FOR ANYONE NEEDING ENCOURAGEMENT #2
I’ve been thinking about this for awhile because I’ve been through it and know so many people who are headed in that direction. This is about toxic people and freeing yourself from them.
About a year ago I realized that you don’t have to be a people pleaser, especially with people who give you stress. Helping others is important, but helping those who judge others, cause drama or make you feel let down or terrible about yourself don’t deserve your time or affection.
Here’s a little story. Because I’m young some people don’t take me seriously, or make allegations about who they think I am or should be. They assume age makes the person rather than ability. This one person would always talk down to me and overlook my decisions because of that reason. I made the effort to impress them, but nothing I did would change their opinion about me.
After this, I realized they weren’t worth it. If you’re making the countless effort to please someone, whether that’s at home, a job, anywhere, realize that it isn’t worth your time or energy. This is your life to lead and nothing anyone says or does should change that.
Types of toxic people:
Know-it-alls - People who think they know everything about the world
Thieves - People who want what you have and try to take it from you or full on copy your achievements
Arrogant Jerks - People who talk down to you
The Negative - People who always whine and complain about themselves instead of making the effort to change
The Assumer - People who assume gender | age | race | job | experience based on what they know
The Conformist - People who conform to what they think is “normal” and try to make you exactly like them
The Bragger - People who brag about their achievements and put you down
I have dealt with all seven of these types in my lifetime and hope I can help you avoid making any contact with them. Some people can’t be fixed, and when you accept that and move on, trust me, your life will improve for the better.
The best way to avoid any of these people is by finding your confidence first. Know that their opinions do not matter because they are exactly like mosquitoes. They are sucking the life out of you and making you feel sick. Don’t let them do this. No matter if it’s family, colleagues, etc. don’t let them win. You’re better than that and just need to realize that it’s your life to live.
