lowkey i hate when people are Made Examples Of on this site. when some normal person says some normal stupid thing that like. yes they could’ve thought twice about it or double checked and educated themselves it was their mistake but like. they aren’t evil for their momentary ignorance or anything. but then in an attempt to be educational someone responds with seven paragraphs and by the end of a lengthy reblog chain op is being dragged through the mud for being an idiot as if they single-handedly are representative of the problem of ignorance on that topic. like they’re the face of an entire systemic worldwide problem suddenly. it’s sort of like the equivalent of filming someone pushing a pull door at your hometown convenience store and it goes viral and people are making psas and talking about how lol this is proof humanity is stupid. like man come on
