Buddybot looked on at the new toy who had taken away his rightful spot. No longer were the kids staring at him. No longer were Buddybot toys flying off the shelves in the hands of kids. Now Buddyman had the spotlight. Now Buddyman had the attention of every kid who walked by the store. Now Buddybot had a new mission in life: DESTROY BUDDYMAN.
The newest toy to hit the shelves had arrived. The shop owner replaced Buddybot with this new toy: Buddyman, the hero every child needs. Well, wants anyway. Buddyman attracted quite the crowd around the window and soon kids were ooohing and ahhhing over the new toy. But unknown to Buddyman, trouble was brewing.
One day, a day unlike any other day, a truck pulled up to the store. The fact that a truck had pulled up was not what made this day unlike any other day. Trucks regularly pulled up with more stock of Buddybots and other, lesser toys who lined the shelves. But on this day, the truck that pulled up contained something new.
Buddybot had a mission in life, to sell Buddybot toys! This was easy for him, as he was the most popular toy, adorded by kids and looked up to by the rest of the toys in the store. His place of honor was on the pedestal located in the shop window. Proudly on display for all the see who walked by the shop. But as popular as Buddybot was, it was not to last.
