Budnitz Model E Electric Bike
Me ha encantado el diseño, el color y el planteamiento de la Budnitz Alpha. No tanto el precio.

Designed as both a sturdy and elegant city bike, the Budnitz No.3 Pitch Black Bicycle makes this ride even more suitable for urban riding with a murdered-out color scheme. The frame is done with a matte black powder coat, while the badges get a glossy treatment. Black alloy Budnitz components, black alloy bars and seat post, black grips, and a black saddle help finish out the look, joined by a Gates belt drive and 2-speed Sturmey-Archer kickback drive train. Limited to just ten examples worldwide.

Paul Budnitz makes luxury bicycles. One day he became tired of the social networks that were out there, so he launched Ello privately for his friends only in 2013.

God is in the bicycle details.
Take Tout-Terrain's Chiyoda for instance. It's a beautifully designed bicycle. No frills, extremely functional. Great bike. Every component has been chosen with quality in mind. And although there's nothing wrong with the quality of the brake and gear cables, fact is they are pretty standard.
Maybe you've come across this one: Pinifarina's ebike.
Obviously, a lot more frills: custom leather saddle and handlebar tape, wood, … But, did you notice the brake cables?
The brand is Nokon. And although Nokon's website doesn't look like much, the cables are great. Designwise but also from a functional point of view: they are a lot more durable.
Jagwire has come up with something that pretty much resembles Nokon's cable housing system: Road Elite Link Shift.
Ever heard of Yokozuna cable housing system? It's the kind of cable housing you'll find on Budnitz Bicycles.
Nothing beats the Budnitz. Not as far as I'm concerned. Absolutely fantastic bicycle design. With a suberb eye for all details, cables included.
There's some bicycle trade shows coming up. I'll definitely be paying attention to the smaller parts as well, this time.
