To polish various types of surface different polishing compound has been used. Polishing compounds are changed accordingly surface of workpiece. Usage of all compounds is as below:
· Tan Bobbing Compound removing light scratches and stains from the metal because of having quality of fast cutting action. This is an ideal pre-polishing compound. It is used for smoothing the surface of the precious metals like gold and silver to ready the surface for polishing.
· Black Emery compound is made from emery minerals which improve notch cutting qualities and because of this quality it is the perfect compound for removing scratches, small pits, Plating, paint, rust etc.
· Brown Tripoli is designed for buffing and polishing work. It can easily cut and remove scratches from softer metals like brass, copper, aluminum and various pot metals.
· White Rouge provides light cutting action and coloring on most metals. It removes the scratches left by brown Tripoli. This is great finishing compound for harder metals like chrome and things that have been nickel plated. It provides final finish to these all types of harder materials.
· Red Rouge use for polishing on gold, silver and other precious metals as it gives high quality polished finish. Water Soluble Red Rouge special formulation which breaks down much more easily which allows them to wash off easily in water.
· Green Rouge is designed to provide high gleam finish on soft and hard metals like chrome, stainless steel, and platinum.
· Polinum is rouge which designed to allow you to polish platinum, gold, and stainless steel. Powerful polishing action of Polinum produces unbelievable sparkling gloss to your metals.
