Back in a time before #MayThe4thBeWithYou was a thing, when memes were still dinosaurs, there were still 3 more episodes left of #BuffyTheVampire Slayer Season 3 to air. Well, sort of. S03E19 "Choices" was meant to be Episode 2 of 5 closing out #BtVS Season 3. However, as discussed last week, things got a little tangled when it came to portraying violence in public schools. So instead, this is Week 1 of 3 before #BuffySeason3 can be closed out. It so happens that, with the leads graduating, #Buffy would never really have to worry about this issue again, but it makes you wonder what might've happened next season if they weren't. While it's fairly obvious that "The Prom" is a lead into "Graduation Day, Parts 1 & 2," it's less obvious but still very true that "Choices" is a lead-in to them as well. Despite the looming threat of graduating, none of the kids have made college decisions in late spring, because this is TV and that's somehow realistic. I don't think there was ever any question that we wouldn't be losing the Scooby Gang, and not just because of contracts. You know, they say they enjoy fighting the good fight, but I honestly think part of it is that Willow and Xander decided a long time ago that Buffy was their best friend, and they accepted whatever that meant for their future. Also, I'm still so blown away by the unevenness of this season's airing. The first 10 episodes aired almost weekly, then several more in a row, and now this. Still my favorite season, though! https://www.instagram.com/p/BxDiFSelNzm/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=66126rcbw42q
