You loved wearing his jacket. Where it was large and comfortable on him, it was huge and bulky on you. It was never truly cold enough in Devildom for you to wear a jacket, but you appreciated the sentiment as Beel wrapped you up when a breeze blew by and Asmo complained that the chill was going to dry out his skin. It was still warm from his body heat even now, an hour later.
The three of you had decided to go window shopping today. Asmo said that he needed new clothes for what could be considered the winter season for hell and Beel said he was hungry and wanted to check if there were any new snacks or desserts in the food court.
“Try this one,” Beel said, holding his spoon out to you.
This was the seventh time he had shared some taste or another from his own food with you. The time Asmo could take to look at all the options in a clothing store would have made even the most patient of person hungry, so the invitation to go eat something with him while you waited had you immediately agreeable.
You took the offered bite and hummed as the chocolate mousse melted across your tongue. “Delicious.”
Beel’s happy smile was contagious as he picked up his pace again, devouring one dessert after another from the crowded table. You hiked the large arm of his jacket past your elbow again as you scooped another bite of your cake onto a fork. Grinning, you held it up, catching Beel’s attention.
“Want to try--”
You were hardly halfway through your question when the bite was gone and Beel had moved onto his next dish with a garbled thanks between swallows. You couldn’t help but let out a startled laugh at the sudden shark-like move. You watched with mildly disgusted amusement and enjoyed the comfort of Beel’s presence as he joyfully ate, the warmth of his jacket bundled around you.
