so it's election day in my country and look who I found on a fennel plant right by the gate as I was going out (this is my child now and I will be raising them into a big beautiful butterfly) it's a papilio machaon which was the first ever specimen in my collection as well as the first caterpillars I ever raised and I haven't seen any for at least 15 years so safe to say I was jumping from joy when I saw it aaaaaah I ran back from voting SO fast to get this one home with me lmao
