haha i finally got around to watching op UNCOOL again for my second favorite sector..............
- i know there’s a play on angie’s numbuh in this episode and thats why her teammates call her different things, but we know from sector v’s interactions that calling a teammate by their real actual first name is rare and usually signifies a particularly strong bond between operatives........34 and 42 both call angie by her real name when shes in serious danger
- angie insists her teammates leave her behind to save themselves, shes trying to sacrifice herself to save her friends
- she calls them fools.........in a situation where its clear she cares about them very much. we dont get a lot of sector x relationship development so im gonna overanalyze the HELL out of this. it seems that angie sees her teammates as bumbling but endearing
- but also...shes calling them fools for TRYING TO SAVE HER...or...or maybe she knows all this is just about a playing card and is referring to that which is...more than fair
- 34 is holding 42 for most of this scene and its gay
- 34 pushes 42 ahead of him and saves 42 at his own expense.....its even more gay....and now 42 has had both his teammates sacrifice themselves for his stupid ass (i love him but this whole thing was his fault)
