Spent my time after work this afternoon playing matchmaker (giving a pair of rarely-seen wingless Zopheroteras gall wasps a ride on my finger as I delivered them to nice oak buds. For science. I want to see what kind of galls they make)

They're tiny gentle chonky derpy an'ts (individual pollen grains on this lass, for size reference). They just want to find some good buds and call it a life. 🖤
