Thanks, and me too!! Rivals 2 made me love them. Shadow and Metal are so interesting to compare and contrast. I’m surprised they aren’t more popular in the fandom. It’s a unique pairing that deserves more discussion. I hope they get to properly interact more in the future!!

OMG I LOVE BLUEBERRY! AND I HAVE QUESTIONS!

1. How did the whole "oh now I have a daughter" thing happen to Bumblebee? Like, did he know he was going to have a daughter? Did she just... Spawned in front of him? What was his immediate response?

2. Blueberry doesn't know that Bumblebee is her father, right? I can only imagine how awkward their first interaction would be. Like, I don't know, maybe she was being normal about it, or maybe she was excited to meet him. Meanwhile, Bumblebee would... He wouldn't be taking things fine.

3. How does Bumblebee feel towards Breakdown now? Does he feel regret? Does he want to tell him? Or it's complicated?

4. Do you plan oh doing anything to expand this Au? Like a fanfiction or mini-tiny-ibbi-comics?

5. What's Blueberry favorite band/artist/song and favorite color and why?

Sorry for the amount of questions, I'm just so excited Abt you idea!

Question 1: Bumblebee did know he was expecting, but put off doing anything out of anxiety and just generally not wanting to confront his reality until the Sparkling is actually already there- which is where he starts to panic and immediately leaves his baby at GHOST’s quarters and just prays nothing bad happens to her LOL. I can say that Bumblebee wanted & loved her though, he’s just not in the right headspace & situation to make good decisions at that time.

He justifies everything by calling it all a big mistake & of course, pretending none of it ever happened. Because how are you going to confront all that baggage, really?

Question 2: nope! No knowledge of her actual origins & parents. She knows she’s adopted but that’s as far as she knows and cares to know.

Bee & Berry’s “first meeting” was actually quite unfortunate, due to Optimus feeling more and more anxious about GHOST, he sends Blueberry away to Bumblebee. Like daughter like father I guess, down to the same complicated relationship with the same father figure/guy. Situation wise too.

She was not happy to be there ! She thinks of Optimus as her dad and doesn’t think about her “real parents” often, never even really came up in her mind. She was also quite annoyed by Bumblebee because he hovers a lot & can get a bit too close for her liking.

She DOES respect him to a degree because “oh this is Optimus’ trusted scout I wanna learn from this guy and make my dad proud”

but from Bumblebee’s perspective it’s “oh primus thats my daughter. Primus sent me back my daughter. I cant bear losing her again. I can’t let go. What am i gonna do. Oh primus.”

Question 3: they haven’t met in a while.

Question 4: I think about it time to time, but ‘m not sure yet! It’s fun to work on an idea but I’m not one for writing & drawing anything super expansive lol. Extra Bumblebee sketch because he looks so sad and miserable here I wanted to share

Question 5: Blueberry prides herself too highly to spend time doing frivolous things. She’s got duties to fulfill!

Megatron in ES always talks about how he regrets what he did and the 'starting a whole war thing.' So I'm curious, does Megs feel bad about what he did to Bee? Also, would Bee ever snap and confront Megatron(either privately, or VERY MESSILY publicly)? I like to think of Bee as a "you got away with it" sort of mindset. He feels that Megatron faced no true consequences for his actions. So if he does snap, what do you think it would look like?

Megatron would regret it, but not enough to pay for it. I don’t doubt he regrets what he did in the past, but after his “redemption”, I feel like It would be too much for Megatron to confront each individual people he’s hurt & killed, so he tries to leave it in the past. It would be easy for him, most of them are dead.

But Bumblebee was the one child soldier that outgrew war; so in order to live with himself, sometimes Megatron pretends that Bumblebee and B-127 are different people. Just as he pretends that he and the beast in the battlefields aren’t one of the same. He absolutely does feel guilt for it, just doesn’t have enough guts to fix or apologize- much less actually face the consequences for it.

I think he’s glad Bumblebee is tucked away in a little corner he can ignore, that way he doesn’t have to be reminded of “his lowest”. After so many years of bloodshed he can’t fully unsee casualties as just statistics anymore- he HAS to numb down his conscience, for his own sanity. Bumblebee is more his “punishment” than his victim.

He can only ever see Bee as a person in relation to him, or his abuse. Megatron tries not to think Bumblebee outside of him, the way he’s hurting when he’s not looking. He’s dead, that child is dead, B-127 is dead. There will be no suffering from his hands that continue to live beyond the past. Not in this perfect ending. He’s better now, everything is.

As for Bumblebee, I think he’s the type to bottle his emotions deeper & deeper when it comes to Megatron, until it completely explodes. I don’t think he’d ever do it publicly, and while I like to think that Bumblebee “came out good” for being a child soldier- he is still a product of war. I think, if pushed and prodded enough to fury, Bumblebee would resort to “paying back” his abuse. Making even. Bluntly, I think he’d just kill the guy in anger, sorry Bumblebee & Megatron fans 😭😭😭😭😭

I like to think of these transformer robots as meeeessssyyy people as you can probably tell…. LOL

Hi hi hi! I love your AUs and was wondering if, in any of them, Optimus either realizes his treatment of Bumblebee isn't the best or is confronted by it by either one of the bots, maltos, or anyone. Would he even care or change his behavior? Or would he think whoever confronts him is just being dramatic? If he did care, would he actually try to fix anything or just avoid bbumblebe(and maybe avoid others as well if he falls into a depressive slump)?

Hmmm I’m unsure…. Optimus is . Complicated to me, I don’t think he intended to mistreat his scout but he wasn’t exactly oblivious to his actions either. In any other universe, he would’ve treated Bumblebee well, in a place that isn’t so torn by war. It’s one of those classic tropes of “right person, wrong time”, except that person is your parent.

I think Bee & Optimus are both equally aware that whatever parent-child relationship they had… it wasn’t healthy. But neither wants to confront it because it feels so fragile, and despite how dysfunctional they are as a family they want to keep it that way. Bumblebee certainly does, it’d feel weird to change what has always been just that.

Optimus would have a desire to change without acknowledgement of the past. but without that necessary step in improvement; their relationship just becomes messy and awkward, so they both just keep it as it was out of fear that there would be nothing if they try to fix this thing they have that feels like it could barely qualify as something real.

They love each other as much as a mother and a daughter are capable of loving each other, but the war bonds them in an odd way, without that glue they kinda struggle to navigate it i think… all they know how to act is by gentle orders, extra rations & praise for a job well done. They both believe they’re hanging onto each other by a thread when they reaaalllyy aren’t like. At all.

In other words Optimus googles; what do you tell your son so he knows you love him without having to say it outright because he is deadass afraid of emotional intimacy 😢 is robot therapy available? LOL

So, coming back to your post about Bee & Megatron (my hands are cold just to think abt it aaaaaaaa if it's excitement or sheer horror? I have no idea )

How do you think B-127 (season 4) would react to everyone, including Optimus Prime missin/mourning/going after Megatron? Like, he clearly has memories of pretty much everything regarding the million years of war still, so uh... that's messy. Ngl I'm literally dizzy just to think. Oh poor mech.

Like, imagine one day you wake up and every one around you, including your father figure who you THOUGHT supported you and cared about your well being, are now so caring about someone that tortured you and killed thousands of your friends and comrades. And you can't even talk about- not even mention it! because it apparently doesn't matter anymore cuz the mf had a redemption ark (that mind you, didn't got him to properly pay for his actions, like- wdym?!?!) And it happened millions of years ago, like, "ugh just grow out of it, won't you? It doesn't matter anymore 🙄"

This genuinely gets me so mad I'm trembling and might pass out. Excuse me, I need to calm down. My low blood pressure can't handle this.

I’m honestly pretty split bc I don’t know if I want regressed B-127 to be the one post-mute or pre-mute… I like to think B-127, if before all the evil ass trauma occurs to him (before Rubble, voice-box mutilation, and whatever’s going on with Breakdown) would be a little more open to Megs being redeemed.

For a more innocent version of B-127, the horrors of war hasn’t fully marinated yet in his little brain. I think he’d be pretty happy to explore Earth and such honestly, and it’s a bittersweet thing; killing Bumblebee to give this little guy a second chance at life, a chance to grow up. He wouldn’t like Megatron nor would he fully understand others’ grief, but at this stage in life he thinks “the adults would know better than him”, so he’d force himself to move on- and he would! His heart’s got a lot more space for happiness, there’s less to drag him down the past. He’d live in the shadows of Bumblebee, sure, but. he’s got it!

Post-mutilation B-127 though. He would be ANGRRYYYYYYY . FURIOUS EVEN! He’d be pretty conflicted, switching between “everyone sucks. I hate everyone. I wish I was dead so they’d regret ever mistreating me like this!!” To “but what if I’m wrong and I really am just overreacting?” but the only consistent thing in his brain would be “look at me me!! Pay attention to me!! Do I even matter anymore? Pity me, pity me, pity me, anyone please, pity me!!!”

He’d stay angry because at this point, he’s understood all the life Megatron’s took, and even experienced losing one of them dear to him. But he’d sway from time to time, just from the confusion that nobody in the world seems to understand or even recognize that version of Megatron. He’d get to heal in time, but there’s more to work with. A lot of angst in this guy for sure, but.. with a lot of time and support, he’d get there. Everyone can and will at some point.
