Basically a bad ending AU where Kai becomes the centipede monster in Monstrosity, thus losing himself. Meanwhile, the Fab 5 are released. Drix arrives to the land of monsters for conquest, and finds Kai, a shell of his former self, primed for manipulation >:)

Ok so like how do you feel about shipping Kai and Drix

I just saw Art of it and I kid you not I’m actually really liking it (Kai was a centipede btw)

Oh dear Anon I fear I am the most boring person to ask about ship stuff as I tend to lean much more towards platonic and familial dynamics. Not to say I don’t ship, i definitely do, but it’s not what I tend to gravitate to first in fandom. And my ships tend to be quite basic, either canon and/or very popular in fandom.

That being said, go wild. Go crazy. Have fun. I really don’t care so long as they’re both adults and there’s no weird/problematic stuff. If people can ship Lloyd X Ras I don’t see why people can’t ship Kai and Drix.

I feel like this is one of those ships I wouldn’t personally like seriously ship but would find the comedic potential funny. Like Drix being like “wowwwww all your *insert bug features here* are so <333” and Kai freaking out because he’s desperately trying to keep monstrosity events under wraps. It could be funny. Drix keeps accidentally almost exposing him and there’s wacky hijinks as Kai does increasingly ridiculous things to hide Monstrosity events from the team.
