November 11 2017, is the 99th anniversary of the victory of World War I. France has held a grand celebration as one of the former victors. For the first time in the glory of 854, the famous Notre Dame de Paris was the first to show off her most exciting and brilliant side - the 3D light show.

This is the 100th anniversary of the victory of the First World War. The behind-the-scenes surgeon is the French lighting master Bruno Seillier.
Bruno Seillier has directed many famous light shows from all over France since 2012, including: La Nuit aux Invalides, Les Luminessences d’Avignon, La Conquête de l’Air, etc.
Btw, Bruno Seillier is also the only one who created a video light show for Notre Dame in 2011. This is the light show called Au parvis de l’inconnu that year.
The title of the Notre Dame de Paris light show is "Dame de Cœur". In order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the victory of World War I, war and peace are the themes of the whole performance.
November 11th is a special day for France, it is the day of the World War I Armistice Agreement. In that war, the number of French soldiers who were mobilized to participate in the war was about 8.5 million, and the number of dead was as high as 1.4 million. After the signing of the Armistice Agreement, France held a commemorative event every year to commemorate the martyrs and the dead relatives. This day has, therefore, become a public holiday.
On the battlefield of 1917, in the darkness, a young French nurse met a dying American soldier. At the last moment of his life, the American soldier said that his only regret was that he could not visit the Notre Dame in person. The French nurse gently told the story of Notre Dame to the American soldier who was about to die.
This light show brought a mysterious dialogue between history and art through sound, light and shadow, and led their souls to meet again in Notre Dame. Completing the regrets of the soldiers and completing the commemoration of the centennial of the First World War.
From November 8th to 11th, 2018, for four consecutive nights, in each of the 25 minutes of performance time, a total of seventeen sound and light scenes formed this year's light show. Bruno Seillier projected these 17 different styles of 3D images on the outer walls of the Notre Dame by sound, light and shadow. In this way, the historical sense of the building of the Notre Dame and the sense of science and technology of modern virtual reality technology are combined without any sense of contradiction. With the structural lines of the building itself and the three-dimensional perspective of the three-dimensional space, the audience felt an unparalleled and wonderful audio-visual feast.
The 17 works show the history of the cathedral, such as the first stone of the cathedral was laid in 1163. In addition to recalling the past of Notre Dame, it also recalls the past of France. The growth of the tree of hope in the long history and The image also tells about Louis IX, the glory of Saint Louis. Saint Louis brought back the crown of Jesus from Jerusalem and brought glory to France. It is not difficult to find out from this lamp show that art is definitely a mapping of the soul. In addition, we have seen what the French view of war is like after the gradual dissipation of historical dust.
The combination of technology, history and art will definitely be the most different Notre Dame in Paris, but it is more worth remembering that the dazzling light show of Notre Dame.
