       “I don’t come out often, but whenever I do I see you singing at some point.” It reminded her of a cartoon she saw in the early hours of the mid-morning, where a man found his fulfillment through karaoke when the work day was through. It also somewhat reminded her of her father - the fact that this guy couldn’t carry a tune, that is. “I always thought people who could do that outside their shower had guts.”

It’s hard to get his attention-- he can’t seem to focus on them, his eyes darting to the side every chance he got. And whatever he saw was certainly putting him on edge, his shoulders hiked up, his tension obviously. He looked like a rubber band pulled back and ready to snap at any moment.

“--’Scuse me. I canno’ take it anymore--” He suddenly sprints off, subtly growling in his throat as he chased...after a squirrel. Just a little gray squirrel that had been scurrying about in his peripheral. Angus does give it quite a chase, his speed admirable as he nearly grabbed at it’s tail before it scampered up a tree and just out of his reach. “Oi! Stay up there-- ye fluffy rat bastard--”

Angus eventually comes back, pouting and kicking the ground as he walked. “Can’t stand those lil’ shits...can’ eat ‘em anymore ‘cause they’re too high in cholesterol apparently.” He sniffed and scratched at his neck before giving the other a crooked grin, his canines eerily sharp in his mouth. “What were ye sayin’? I didn’t catch it.”

Evangeline drops unceremoniously to her knees, in the middle of the sidewalk, busily snatching up fallen ribbons and tulle. A tutu here, a pair of teensy pointe shoes there, and the wind caught up a particularly pink hair ribbon before she could grab for it-- damn! 

Without even trying to fit anything in the broken paper sack that’d failed her, Evie tries to stumble back up to her feet, all off balance with arms tangled and desperately grasping onto the few saved items... naturally, that stumble would incidentally lead her to bump right into HIM, which almost causes her to drop everything all over again--

“Oh, NO! I am so sorry, I... the... I dropped them...” and her bottom, pouting lip looks like she’s about to just burst into tears...
