Starting a bullet journal - a tutorial
Tips for anyone who’d like to start a bullet journal but doesn’t know how/where to begin :)
A lot of people have been asking me about bullet journal stuff, and I figured the easiest way to answer all these questions is to make a tutorial :D. I’ve actually been working on this since December, but due to uni stuff wasn’t able to finish it before the new year, when many of you decided to start bullet journaling. I hope that some of you find this useful anyway! I know there’s more text than usual, but it’s worth reading, I promise :D
I didn’t invent the system, if you want to see the original idea, go to the website bulletjournal.com
Some useful links for each section:

3. Choosing a notebook - Leuchtturm1917, Moleskine, Muji - try your local stationery shop, really!!! You can find an amazing brand that we don’t know about there!
4. Choosing supplies - list of cheap stationery by studyamy!! - Flying Tiger Copenhagen - great masterlist of stationery brands by @emmastudies - try Etsy for some original stickers, or Amazon
5. Types of bullet journal DISCLAIMER: I’ve tried to sort of fit some of the people’s journals that I love in these categories, but it’s just my opinion. Don’t be mad at me hehe :’D artistic @studyrose‘s bujo - definition of artistic imo @studypetals‘ bujo - so many great ideas of using photos/paper @studykouffee‘s bujo - look at how amazingly Kou uses space in her journal I like to consider my journal artistic heh, although I love using various trackers & stuff so I am a bit functional as well (or I aspire to be :’D) aesthetic @studywithinspo‘s bujo - to me the definition of aesthetics :’) @nag-aaral‘s bujo - Eris used to have a very artistic journal but now she’s leaning more towards the aesthetic side -- her bujo is always gorgeous @studylustre‘s bujo - the pictures just scream aesthetic I cry :’) @focusign‘s bujo - Judy’s bujo is aesthetic AND artistic, but I’ve decided to add it to this category functional the original bullet journal (duh :D) @baby-gloom‘s planner/bujo - very nicely organized bullet journal/planner with an artistic twist on it @emmastudies‘ bujo - so organized I cry :’) esp. look at the variety of spreads @bohoberry‘s bujo - look at the weather tracker and the color code! Amazing!
that’s all, feel free to add your stationery/bullet journal recommendations!
