Kurt Cobain by Bulk Styles.
December 14, 2016
GONE TOO SOON
by Bulk Styles, Eduardo Mendieta, Mayling Pao, Anthony Hernandez, Paul Hughes
In December, 2016 Street Art Revolution organized a West Palm Beach, Florida event to pay tribute to five musicians that left us too early, and to continue their fight to change the public perception of what is considered art. Stating that “some of the most prolific artists in Palm Beach County will not be found in upscale galleries” their goal is to enhance the local landscape while giving those artists both a platform and an audience. For the December event Anthony Hernandez painted Bob Marley; Mayling Pao painted Prince; Paul Hughes memorialized David Bowie; Eduardo Mendieta did MCA of the Beastie Boys; and this portrait of Kurt Cobain was painted by Jupiter, Florida artist Mark Bulks, aka Bulk Styles. @bulk_styles @streetartrevolution @scenesfromthesidewalk
