When Elesa went to Hoenn not too long ago, she was in an unstable state. Her modeling agency were overworking her to no end, and she hadn't seen the light of her gym for sometime. The model didn't like being away from her gym for such a long span of time. I am missing so many challengers... would always be the thought that would always stay in her mind. Due to the stress she was undergoing, she felt like she need a break from it all. It was then that the Nimbasa native decided that the only person she could actually stay was Surfer Boy. But, during her "secret" vacation, the blue-haired man helped her deal with her many problems that were eating at her. Even if it was something he couldn't handle, Brawly still tried his hardest to help her out. The model didn't really want to admit to him that she was actually grateful for his support, but the least she could do was thank him... Tonight, the black haired model had a big modeling gig located right in her gym. A big fashion company want her to model out their new summer collection, which included fancy sundresses and frilly one-piece swimsuit, along with some adorable two-pieces thrown in for fun. This would be one of her last fashion show she'd be doing for quite some time, and Elesa really wanted it to be the best one in her career. Plus, she invited someone to come and join in with her to model the men's summer collection along side her.... That is if he would hurry up. "Brawly, where in the world are you..." In all honesty, Elesa didn't tell Brawly about him model on the catwalk, or as he calls it "cat-stage." She thought it would be more fun for him just to learn as he modeled along with her. Just imagining him modeling put clothes got Elesa seriously laughing. "Oh Brawly, hurry up so I can see this with my own two eyes."
Technically, I inserted the word buffalo once. Have an AU best friends drabble/ one-shot thing that pushed 1000 words! Why can’t I keep it short!?
Tap….Tap…Tap…
Twitch.
Sigh……Louder sigh….
Double twitch plus evil eye.
Groan….GROAN…
“Alright, that’s it,” Morty exclaimed, clapping his book shut with more force than necessary. Brows furrowed in annoyance, two pools of amethyst gazed at the slumped figure of the currently irritating excuse for a human being known as Brawly, his best friend of ten plus years. Noticing his irritated tone, the sky blue-haired teen lifted his head ever so slightly, presenting the blonde one of the most pitiful kicked puppy expression he had ever seen. Arceus, was he pouting?
“Tell me the truth Brawly. What’s wrong? You’ve been displaying exasperating traits for the past half hour now and if I didn’t stop you just now, you would have gotten a dictionary to the face.” Seriousness oozed from his words because frankly, it would have happened. The only thing that held him back from decking the athlete in the first ten minute was the bond they shared from being inseparable eighty percent of the time.
Still, even the book worm had his limits and his patience was already wearing thin.
“It’s nothing du-“
“Do you want another incident like the last time you lied to me?” Morty cut him off almost immediately as he levelled him a hard look. The other shivered visibly (in a way, it made him happy that he’d instilled a good amount of fear into the larger teen. He may be a bit on the scrawny side but that doesn’t mean he was not dangerous. It’s the nice ones that you have to look out for) before hefting out a deep, sorrowful sigh.
“Promise ya won’t laugh at me.”
“Like I haven’t done that enough on a daily basis,” he muttered under his breath before inclining his head in agreement. “Look, I won’t ridicule if it’s troubling you. “ The blonde flashed him a mock insulted look. “I thought you know me better than that Brawly.”
His efforts paid off when Brawly’s lips twitched ever so slightly. In all honesty, Morty hated seeing him with that kind of expression. It was a complete one eighty to his usual loud, brash and fun-loving sunshiney attitude that helped cracked the shell of his seclusion all those years ago.
It felt odd and wrong and he wanted to see that large, goofy smile on his face again.
“It’s just…” he began, trying to articulate his thoughts into words. The blonde waited patiently for the bluenette to just spit it out already. A minute or so of failed attempts passed before Brawly sifted his fingers anxiously through soft, blue locks, eyes closed and jaw taut.
“I think,” his friend breathed out and Morty had to lean closer so he could properly hear him. “I think…I’m….in love.”
Morty blinked owlishly for a few seconds as his brain processed the revealed information. Really? The urge to roll his eyes reached near unimaginable levels because really, that was what bothered you? A freaking crush?
“Well, I honestly have nothing else to say but congratulations for finding that special person.” The promise he uttered earlier plus the pathetic expression on Brawly’s face prompted him to phrase his words carefully. Damn it, why must he be a sucker to such heart-rending looks?
“Thanks man. Coming from ya, that’s pretty wicked,” he exclaimed, mouth morphing to a toothy grin that made him look more like himself. Morty allowed a small smile to form on his own lips as he pushed up the purple spectacles he wore to a more comfortable position. He insulted Brawly more than he praised him so his reaction was to be expected.
“So, who’s the lucky girl?” Might as well ask for the juicy details while his mood was still pleasant. Smirking as the question made the other’s cheeks coloured slightly, he leaned back to allow the love-stricken teen a chance to speak.
“Well…I met her at that party we had last week. The one ya didn’t go to since ya was sick. I saw her at the centre of the hall and man…. It’s like love at first sig—Don’t snicker like that! Things like that happen in real life too!” Brawly cried indignantly when Morty’s shoulders trembled from barely concealed sniggers.
“Sorry, sorry.” He waved a hand airily. “Please continue.”
The bluenette huffed out a breath before continuing. “Like I said, she was the prettiest girl I’ve ever laid eyes on and believe me; I saw a lot of beautiful chicks before. All of them just paled in comparison to her, I swear man!”
Morty nodded his head at appropriate intervals, raking through his mind to try and guess who the girl who smitten his friend was.
“Like, I went to her, trying to be all cool and stuff but I kinda trip—“
“Figured as much.”
“—ed. It’s like she’s a ninja cuz she caught me in a second! She sort of laughed at me but then we introduced ourselves. She’s so poli—“
“Which you’re not.”
“—te and nice and beautiful! We then danced together and man, she moves like a graceful—“
“In comparison to you, stampeding buffalos have more elegance.”
“—swan! We had so much fun together and I think she dig—“
“Was she wearing prescription glasses or have some sort impaired vision?”
“—ged me cuz she gave me her phone number! But I’ve been too much of a chicken to message her, let alone call!” The interjected string of insults had little to no effect towards the love-stricken male and he seemed really stressed over this. Sighing, Morty extended his hand, earning him a confused look.
“What do you want man?”
“Give me your phone. If you’re too cowardly to message her, let me write it for you.”
The blonde swore the extremely bright smile Brawly shot him blinded him for a split second.
“Thanks man! I owe ya big for this!” Fishing out his cell phone, the bluenette gave it to him plus a piece of paper that had the scribbled phone number.
Morty eyed the number once before his fingers tapped out the message.
“Hey, how have you been? It’s been a we— Wait a second!” His eyes scanned through the number multiple times because it couldn’t be…
1-XXX-XXX-XXXX Mary.
“What’s the matter dude?”
“Brawly…” he started, trying to disregard the fact that it could be her that he met last week. “Did this girl had blonde hair, freckles and blue eyes?”
“Yeah man!” Surprise was certainly evident in his voice. “How’d ya know? Ya Psychic or something?”
Nearly in hysterics, Morty’s yell could probably be heard throughout the school.
6. Be Prepared - my character plots an evil scheme against your character
or
15. Magic Mirror - my character gets extremely jealous of yours
Since I literally can’t think of both of this happening in canon, have an OOC AU mesh up (I think?) of both prompts!
The interior of his castle was dark, dank and all together dreary. It smelled of blood – old and dried blood – and the decaying, rotten smell only achieved from human corpses. Though the candelabras were lit, it was dim, adding to the macabre atmosphere surrounding the lone, twisted man.
As opposed to the deathly aura clinging on every surface of this large place, the young man looked lively and handsome – silky, golden locks. Milky smooth skin. The purest pools of amethyst known to exist. Of course it was natural. How could it not? When he saw what he wanted on the foolish travellers that traversed through his territory, of course he would make it his.
Though their anguished screams at having something physically ripped off from their bodies abused his poor eardrums, the end results were still satisfactory. Now, he added another feature to his own, ensuring that it is he that stayed the handsomest of them all.
A crazed laugh escaped his ruby lips, mouth twisted into a crooked smile. Well, it has been a while since his last adjustment – he preferred a pointed nose. That ignorant bartender provided him such means – and a visit to the magic mirror. With barely concealed glee, Morty jumped off his comfy throne before heading towards the intended place with long strides.
A large, solid black door stood at the end of the corridor, much bigger than the other rooms in the castle. With a hand on the metal handle, the blonde pushed the thick wood with relative ease. The great door groaned its disapproval until he slid into the room. He stared impassively at the countless pairs of his own purple eyes. Mirrors. Everywhere he turned, the young wizard was surrounded by mirrors, large and small, simple as well as ornate; everything from pocket mirrors to the mirrors the same size of the big black door he had passed through.
He was not interested in any of the display pieces however. The grandest of them all stood in the centre like a majestic pillar, towering over anything and everything. He ran his finger along the intricate carvings of thorny vines and flowers that suited his entire being – beautiful as the flowers, dangerous as the vines – before standing back, admiring the full reflection on the ancient mirror.
With an eerie smile, Morty placed a palm on the dusty cool surface, watching as the reflection shattered and swirled as his magic coursed through it.
“Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the handsomest one of all?” Those words were often uttered many years before when he first began. Now, he merely wanted to know his status and maybe get rid of unwanted pests.
The glass shimmered extremely brightly for a moment before the surface rippled, revealing the person that answered his question. Jealousy burned like a fierce flame, licking and heating up his entire essence. It was not he that was the handsomest in all the land anymore. No, the mirror showed a young man no older than twenty five. Teal blue hair, sharp facial features and the most intense sea blue eyes he’d ever seen.
Insect. How dare he? HOW DARE HE? No one else is supposed to be more attractive than him. NOBODY!
“Mirror, who is this….creature?” He spat out the venom dripped words with intense hatred.
Once again, the glass shone before the scene switched to the lavish interior of a castle. That man stood before a King and a Queen, exchanging words with a serious expression on his face. Though no sound was presented, lip reading proved to be very useful at the moment.
“Prince Brawly. “ Morty tested the words on his tongue, a scowl disfiguring his visage. Whoever this ‘Prince Brawly’ was, his fate was sealed. He will die by his hands, by his wizardly powers, by his….
…..wait. Diverting his attention to the mirror once more, a different thought formed in his head. Why doesn’t he just add him to his collection? Though not a big fan of the eyes, Morty did like his jaw. With it, never again would a mortal best him in looks.
With that in mind, a smile oozing with malice tilted his lips. He will make Prince Brawly his, one way or another. His appearance depended on it.
Me an' you! ((Because I'm curious how the super smart would deal with being with the super stupid xD))
Who cooks: Brawly probably would make the same kind of food every night til Sabrina kicks him out of the kitchen and does it herself.
Who does the laundry and other chores: Brawly. He seems like he had a bachelor pad for awhile so he probably knows a thing or two about chores.
How many children do they have: They adopt a pokemon egg instead, a ralts. Sabrina wants it to become a Gardevoir (psychic w/o fighting) and Brawly wants it to become a Gallade (b/c fightiiing).
Who’s more dominate: Brawly is naturally, unless Sabrina gets pissy.
Favorite nonsexual activity: Showering, seriously. There’s water there and it’s nice and calm. Gotta wash off all that sand…
Their favorite place to be together: On the beach. He can surf and she can tan/nap.
Any traditions: Betting on sports events. Always opposing teams.
Their “song”: UHHH sorry!
What they do for each other on holidays: Brawly insists on going caroling every Christmas. Sabrina has to go, but she doesn’t have to like it.
Where did they go for their honeymoon: A big city, like Lumoise!
Where did they first meet: Sabrina was in town and she heard there was a fighting-type gym. Since she’s incredibly snooty toward fighting-type trainers she waltzed right in and challenged it and Brawly thought it was ballsy and hilarious.
Any pets: Sabrina’s psychic-types and Brawly’s fighting-types actually get along pretty well.
What do they fight over: It’s all about types and ideals about training. It’s sort of petty, because it never changes either of their minds.
Do they go on vacations, if so where: To the beach!
"Tyna-what?" Barry asked blankly, staring at Kyle with a confused expression on his face. Danny put his hand on Barry's shoulder, shaking his head at the awesome Irishman across from them. "He mods the group with me, man," the mun muttered. "Remember?"
At the mention of Kyle's occupation, Barry's eyes lit up and he let an enthusiastic grin grace his features, holding out his hand for a manly handshake. "A fellow mod of the Wild Encounters? Sir, you've got my respect! I mean, Danny's been working there for just a couple months and he's already cracking under the immense stress! Eh?"
As Barry teasingly nudged his mun in the ribs, Danny grew redder than a cherry tomato. "I am not cracking! Where did you ev-"
The mun faceplanted and held up a white flag of surrender as Barry shot Kyle a knowing look that screamed 'I told you so'.
Your character walking in on mine in a revealing costume.
The outlet mall in Rustboro was packed with tourists and consumers alike; the summertime brought everyone to the many boutiques, shopping for seasonal items and novelty gifts to take home from their trips. The ocean was but a hop and a skip away, making the town and its commercial district ideal for those planning to hit up the beach.
Sapphire was being accompanied by Brawly, who was going to take it upon himself to teach the girl how to surf. She was very excited, as she always admired his passion for the sport and was in awe at his skills. But for the time being, they decided to split up: Sapphire was on the hunt for a new bathing suit, as Brawly headed towards the sporting goods store.
She entered the boutique, and gathered as many different kinds of suits as she could find. In no way was she planning to purchase them all - but it'd be a fun opportunity to play dress up. Heading towards the back, she began smiling with excitement. Hell yes! She jumped a little, in the dressing room. Trying on a few of the ones from her selection, she twirled in front of the mirror. The girl was pretty decisive, choosing the one she wanted almost immediately.
Sapphire then came across a really skimpy, string bikini. It was not anything she'd ever be willing to wear in public, much less buy. But what could it hurt to use this moment to try on something new? Slipping easily into the piece, the thin material hugged her curves. She had to admit, her body was looking pretty good. But she couldn't help but to blush at the revealing nature of the piece. I wouldn't be caught dead in this thing! She laughed to herself, as she went to take it off.
"Yo, Saph'. You ready?" she heard Brawly calling her name. Suddenly, she felt her body trembling. What he was doing in the female dressing room was beyond her (but was it really that shocking?). Taking another glance in the mirror at the skimpy bikini, she struggled to find the words. To make matters worse, she noticed the door to the dressing room wasn't locked. Immediately, she went to solve this issue. "N-Not ye-----" she began to call out.
The terror became real when she saw the knob twist and the door slowly open. Frozen in fear and without enough time to cover up, she found herself stuck to the floor like a mannequin.Nonchalantly, he continued talking. "Jus' makin' sure you were still in h----woa."
There she stood, practically naked, with only her private bits concealed in the barely-there bikini. Brawly was as expressionless as she was, frozen in horror and unable to utter another word. He was trying to concentrate on her face, but she could feel his gaze traveling up and down her figure. "H-How does it look?" she laughed nervously, striking a half-assed pose. In a matter of seconds, Brawly's face became beet red, and he brought up both hands to cover his mouth and nose. "S-Shit! I'm sorry!!!" he exclaimed, snapping back to reality and bolting away as fast as he could.
Regaining composure, Sapphire rushed to remove the embarrassing garment and re-dress herself, promptly picking up the swimsuit she originally intended to purchase. Well, that was awkward... Out of the dressing room she strolled, only to find Brawly anxiously waiting for her outside. The girl shrugged it off, determined not to let this day go to waste.
Breezing on past him, she noticed blush still crossing his cheeks. She smiled slightly. "You're welcome," she said in a huffy yet playful tone, as she summoned her bird Pokemon and prepared for lift off.
