January monthly spread + a tumblr post I liked enough to write down lmao

For this month I decided to go with a primary color theme... lots of blues, yellows and reds! This is my first time doing a collage style spread and I have to say I LOVE it so much that I’ve already started making February (lmao).

My flatmate is on wellbeing committee at my uni and she asked me if I would host a bullet journal workshop during refreshers! I’m a bit afraid of speaking in front of people I don’t know, but also a bit excited as I’ve never done something like that before.

Class prep spread ✨

I’m really looking forward to getting back to class! i have done a bit of old English before second year but I really have no idea what to expect for either of these classes! I know 0 about the romantics, but tbh I knew 0 about Milton and that ended up being one of my favorite classes I’ve taken at uni 🌿

Another peek at my year spread!

On the left is just a general outline of 2019, I’ve highlighted important dates although this spread is more of an aesthetic thing than anything else.

On the right are my resolutions/goals for this year! I’m not sure how I did on my 2018 goals, I’d have to take another look at what I wanted to achieve. I’m very proud of what I’ve accomplished in 2018, even if I didn’t really start working on myself before June/July. I love bullet journaling because it helps me keep myself accountable and helps me implement self-discipline into my life.

I have these overarching yearlong goals, but each month I draft smaller monthly goals to help me towards achieving my yearly goal. One of my yearlong goals was to develop the habit of working out, and I manage to achieve this by focusing on building the habit of working out minimum 2 times a week first.

I’m somebody who gets depressed if I don’t constantly have something I’m working on or towards, and this system has not only kept me feeling happy and fulfilled but has also helped me keep myself on track.

2019 spread! 🌿🐱

I used a quote from the very end of the Return of the King because after we celebrated NYE, I went home to watch the last few minutes I had left of RoK. Frodo’s goodbye to Sam, Pippin and Merry gets me every time. Not sure if it’s a good sign that I entered 2019 ugly crying over LOTR lmao. Samwise is my hero.
