More of Mama bullsquid and her pups feasting on a headcrab
bullsquid houndeye lesbians
Red-Cheeked Bullsquid growth stages. Red-Cheeked Bullsquids do not look after their young, instead females will congregate to make huge communual nests, hiding their eggs under warm ground. After that, they are left to themselves. Because of this the hatchlings are already self sufficent in only a few hours, capable of hunting and looking after themselves. Babies and juveniles might live in small groups for a while, increasing each memeber's chance of survival, but once they reach sexual maturity it's very very rare to see them together, as Red-Cheeked Bullsquids are highly territorial. Red-cheeked Bullsquids fill a completely different niche when young, going from fast and nimble predators that primarily feed on small animals to large, heavy and powerful predators that instead feed on much larger prey.
