Marcel would become the NUMBER 1 GLAZER for Nora and Gary's relationship once he hears the rumours floating around. (He's highkey just trying to ensure she doesn't change her mind abt Derby lol) Though I feel like from this point in time they could like, slowly mend things and maybe become actual friends eventually?

Nora would be HELLA irritated if Marcel approached her about Gary and being supportive about it (idk if genuinely or just to manipulate her into staying away from Derby). Especially if it's just rumors atp and Nora is stressed out about it anyway, in fear of staining her clean reputation and high status in the school's hierarchy.

So, I imagine that Marcel knocks on her dorm room door in Harrington House, choosing a safe place to adress the topic instead of somewhere public where other students could listen to their conversation. This probably will be the first time Nora has ever led Marcel into her holy dorm room.

"Gary and me? You must be kidding! That's bullshit gossip, Marcel, and a rumor, that Gary most likely has set into the world himself. I wouldn't even touch him with grill tongs", and her facial expression shifts a deep frown with a drip of disgust... knowing well she is LYING. Lying to Marcel, lying to the world, lying to HERSELF.

Everybody has an opinion on it, they think it's fun to pick on a deeply loving girl with a broken heart! Look, she is extremely bitter about Derby and avoids him as much as she can, just looking at him pains her. But she wouldn't show that at first, pretending to cope with it better than she actually does while playing the victim at the same time - whatever attitude suits her better in any given situation. "Go and give it your shot, and see if you find happiness with him. ...I genuinely mean it and swear on my father's Porsche", she might say bitterly. "I wanted to give him everything I could and none of it was ever good enough."

It'd be painful to her, seeing Marcel and Derby together, however the outcome. The simple fact that the whole situation with Derby ended in so much pain and awkwardness, makes it impossible for her to stay around him as a friend. But Marcel still has all possibilities available, it'd be difficult. Letting go of Derby, who she was so awfully emotionally dependent on, is difficult. The more she gets involved with Gary, the more she is distracted and her fixation shifts from one narcissist to the next (big oof).

SO! I think this could indeed give Marcel and Nora a new base to start from zero. Because HONESTLY, Nora lacks a male friend with whom she can have the dynamic of Sharpay & Ryan of High School Musical. She just cannot have that with Bif, Gord or Justin. But it'd work so perfectly with Marcel, OMG.

Yesterday when I received your ask, I was at a Wicked Rave / Musical Club Night and they played "Bop to the Top" and "I Want It All" from High School Musical and having your ask in mind, it totally hit me. Nora needs a genuine friend who she can be emotional with and someone to be silly with (and someone to boss around). It'd work out so well in my opinion!

YOOHOO OKAYYY. Btw in my opinion, Caroline is one of the most interesting ocs I have ever known :D

What Lynette's and Carolyn's interaction would be like:

Lynette has a confusing mixed opinion and feelings about Carolyn. When Lynette met her for the first time, she was all smiles and said to her that she's trying to make Bullworth a better place. Carolyn scoffed and gave her a cold shoulder, Lynette dislikes her ever since. Plus, the rumors going on in school that Carolyn's and her brother's father is involved in some deep shit really doesn't help Lynette's judgement of the Kasper's siblings. And the rumor doesn't make Lynette afraid of them, it's just a silly rumor that was made by Christy (or at least that's who she thought. Can't blame her)

But, Lynette is quite puzzled by Carolyn's compliment of her for being the most 'mature' student in Bullworth. She doesn't find it weird, most students in Bullworth are... Reckless, to say the least and she's one of the FEW students who happens to have common sense (Lynette wants to correct her on that). So her opinion on Carolyn has changed into something softer but still dislikes her for treating her like she's going to do batshit insane things to her when all she does is ask her nicely. Firm but nice

Lynette would appreciate her for not being rude in every conversation they have and at least be a bit nice and decent. That almost makes her forget that Carolyn still doesn't like her and whenever Lynette is being nice and helpful and Carolyn acts like she doesn't fully trust her, Lynette becomes confused and then her dislike of Carolyn comes back. If Lynette helps her without Carolyn asking her to, she would give her a firm nod and a slight awkward smile before walking away. She knows Carolyn doesn't appreciate it but helping people out is Lynette's thing

Overall, Lynette and Carolyn are... Strange acquaintances

Sydney and Ruth oc interactions? :D HC’s and her opinions on Ruth

Sydney is known to have many crushes. She's known to have taken a liking at least once on every single person in the school. It is no surprise to any of the others in the so-called "Art clique" and the other Greasers when the Frenchy Facciano-esque girl begins taking a liking to Ruth.

Sydney met her in-formally as a passing glance. She was window shopping around Aquaberry, the usual staring at items she wanted but couldn't have, when she saw Ruth working. Right then on was there an immediate reaction of "Wow... she's gorgeous..."

When they actually do meet is when she needs to be tutored by her. Seraphina was pulling out her hair from tutoring Sydney, even though she says she isn't; Etienne doesn't know English well so she couldn't explain how she does it accurately; Dalmatian wouldn't be caught dead with her since he's a prep; and Vera is too busy with track. Sydney froze the moment she saw Ruth. The blush on her face, half paying attention to what Ruth says and half just admiring her until she snaps her out of it with a question. "You got this. What's the equation for molarity?"

"uhm... 3.14?..."

She gets embarrassed each time.

They begin actually hanging out whenever she gets called over to cut hair. They gossip, talk, laugh, at just about anything. Sydney will complain about her friends, the other cliques, beauty parlor gossip, guys that come by the auto shop, or just about anyone as she snips off piece by piece. From then they begin talking while walking in the halls between classes, hanging out at times during lunch, etc. Ruth would be invited to the art shows or sip-and-paints in the art room or hanging out in the abandoned house that the art clique uses as a hideout. She somehow also gets Ruth introduced to Marshello, her... pet?

"Is that... a possum?..."

"Yeah, but he is very polite. His name is Marcello with a Shell... we call him Marshell..o...."

Sydney loves talking about fashion and clothing with her. She would show her old fashion magazines from the 50s and 60s. She'll text her or call her for opinions on clothes that she'll thrift or how she should resew a hand-me-down.

She'll talk about other guys and girls she had/still has crushes on and slip a few flirty comments. But the comments are hard to catch since they can be read as either Girl's Girl compliments or actually hitting on you. "You're like, really pretty with that dress on." "aw, thank you." "You're just so, like... totes gorge." "You think so?" "Yeah, like... so pretty..." And, again, Sydney likes almost everyone in the school.

Her family would sometimes invite Ruth over for parties or get togethers. Eating homemade food while sitting in a chair as people talk. It's just a lively family.

I feel like they would gossip together. Sydney would blabber to her over the phone, talking about the next "You'll never guess what-" or "Like, it was totes grody. Like, gag me with a spoon gross."

Sydney loves doing Ruth's eyeshadow. She sees her as the perfect canvas to test out retro looks from her parent's photo albums.

She's slightly afraid and envious of Ruth because of how pretty she is and how she is when she's angry. But, she'll always support her. A "You go girl!" attitude since she knows that if Ruth is pissed about something, it's most likely for a good reason.

When she first heard Ruth call her by her last name, the first thing she said was "I'm not a guy though?..." Then she has to explain the whole thing to her about what her mom says to which Ruth has to explain how that's not how it works.

She'll compare her sometimes to Vivian Beau obliviously. "You look like this one actress-"

When all hell breaks lose, Sydney goes to her first.

Sydney once accidentally found out about the pistol in her work bag and never brings it up. She doesn't comment nor know how to feel but she's a woman so she doesn't feel like there needs to be an explanation.

In all, she's just a girl with an admiration. The lady-in-waiting to the Duchess.
