Was he being stubborn? Or did Bulgaria simply did not wish to respond to anything that the Turk was saying despite the fact that was here in the Turk’s home, looking worse for wear. He didn’t know what happened. He didn’t know how Bulgaria had gotten here. Hell, he didn’t even understand why the other man had decided to come here in the first place especially when you took in the fact as to how late it was. He had had to quickly put on a robe and some slippers for Allah’s sake before doing what he could to help which was a bit more than the basics, but he was no physician.

“The first time I got absolutely hammered was in the late 50s. I’d been in training for nearly a year by then. I was close with the young men. I think, by that point, they were seeing me as one of their own, for the most part. I was physically 16 or so, but technically just barely a decade. Anyway, the coolest guy in the group, Sergei Ignatovitch, wanted to go all out for his birthday and this time I was invited along. Well, you know how it is. You want to impress the cool kids. And being one of the few females even around, I felt the extra need to prove myself. So, well, I didn’t exactly hold back on the shots, you know? Even my natural rep healing wasn’t going to keep up with that.”
She laughs. “I honestly don’t remember much. Who would, right? I definitely must have made out with at least three of them though, but who was even paying attention by then?
