I honestly hate how Starscream's hallucinations consist ONLY of bee when he has more important people on his life. Leaving shipping aside , even in IDW Starscream shows way more emotion and reaction with characters like megatron and metalhawk, heck even optimus himself.

I'm really glad he killed bee on both idw and Skybound because even if their relationship can be written as close and frenemie ish , it still feels like starbee forced down my throat when there is nothing that makes sense about them.

I feel like they could have done something better with his arc

cyberworld bee saying "i'm goated" and cyberworld megatron shushing starscream in the most daddy way ever makes it one of the best transformers shows ever post-2010 and i stand by that

Yeah pal, he's soooooo "child-coded" that the TFA writers had him blush when he was pinned by Prowl and have him sneak off to perform in wrestling matches with roided-up weirdos and be stripped down to have his identity stolen and be paralyzed by Blackarachnia as buildup to a joke and be vored by a rocklord and be violently stabbed by the show's actual child character and, not to mention, have the Constructicons lick up his fluids from an injury to comment on its sweetness.

Come on, you know no one on the TFA team would write a child into these scenarios. I just can't understand how anyone can leap to such conclusion like that, did you even watch the show at that point?

He was written as a rookie robot in a show about robots that fight villainy, he's just as much of an adult as the rest of them.

Cyberworld genuinely has some of the best writing in transformers I've seen in a while. I don't usually like it when shows try to use modern slang or language, but somehow, Cyberworld makes it work really well. Like Snarl's whole anime exposition, that doesn't feel wrong or out of place, it feels like a character. Or Bumblebee saying "I'm literally goated," I found that hilarious.

I think it's because the episodes themselves are really short so by nature, they have to move on with the joke and they don't call out the joke directly. Helps they have non slang dialouge most of the time and action. Lots of action.

I gave up on ES after episode 3 because the ENTIRE Malto family were dicks to Bumblebee yet he's the one made out to be the problem. Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to have the new characters be jerks to one of the most beloved characters in the franchise?
