About Starscream and Bumblebee’s Ghost
Pretty sure this has already been said, but I’m putting it out there just in case.
So I’ve been wondering if Starscream is actually seeing Bumblebee’s ghost, or if he’s just gone insane... I’m here to say that I really hope that he’s snapped. I personally don’t like the idea of them seeing ghosts; it has a lot of spiritual implications, and they’ve never touched on the concept of ghosts being real in this continuity before.
Starscream has been suddenly placed in a position where he has real responsibilities, and all of his actions are being scrutinized even more than when he was with Megatron. He’s honestly trying to make Cybertron a better place, and everyone still treats him like the bad guy. He was told by a Titan that he would bring Cybertron to a new age, and it instantly backfires and kills a whole bunch of people under his rule, and everybody blamed him for it.
After the events of Dark Cybertron, he snapped. He couldn’t stand bearing the burden of leading an entire planet that hates him anymore, so what does he do? He thinks up a person that he respects and would give constructive criticism throughout the many situations that leadership would force upon him. He has to be able to talk to someone, but no one likes him, so he has to resort to talking to himself.
I just hope that eventually, he can be able to talk to Wheeljack about stuff, seeing as he’s the only one that kinda likes Starscream at this point.
